This was my first time eating here, I was visiting Chattanooga and stopped here with my daughter on our way back home. I can admit this way the best catfish I have ever had, my daughter said the same thing! It’s to bad we don’t have an Uncle Larry’s in our home town they really should expand.

The Fried Green Tomatoes ??. First of All My Bag was saturated with Grease. Secondly the Tomatoes had "No Flavor" like they weren't marinated for a while with the batter. The coating had much Bite but it was a Greasy , Taste Less Situation and I will be back only for the desserts ?????? since your cook can't keep the Grease in the Fryer ????. I Said What I Said!!??????

The food was absolutely delicious — the cook is on point! Auntie (the woman running the restaurant) was so warm and welcoming. I had fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, the perch plate with a cucumber salad and fried okra, and dessert was a slice of yummy key lime cake. I thank my sister for introducing me to Uncle Larry's. Anybody visiting who likes soul food should make a beeline for this place!

I drove all the way from Atlanta on my way to Nashville and remembered I had a catfish sandwich from here back in 2018!! Fish and service was still great!! Can't wait to come back!
Visited the South for the first time and heard great things about this catfish restaurant! I got the fried catfish and my friend got the fried tilapia. The catfish was so soft and buttery!! It is definitely a softer fish than the tilapia. The breading is a little too salty for me but I think that's also a personal preference. I got my fried catfish with a side of fried okra and turnip greens. Fried okra was delicious but the greens were also a little bit salty for my taste. I'd get the baked beans next time. The restaurant has more of a hole-in-the-wall vibes and is causally run. Service was fast and staff were attentive and helpful.

The best fried okra I’ve ever had. It was incredibly fresh and light. And I could eat the hush puppies every day. The catfish serving was huge! To top it off, the staff was incredibly friendly. Overall, a great experience. I only wish we were local so we could make this a regular stop.
It was our first time recommended by a friend. The catfish with Cajun and lemon pepper seasoning were well balanced and delicious.
