I can't say enough about how good the fish, shrimp, and hush puppies are. And the smack'em sauce SLAPS!!! Larry's son was there very personable. My son wanted a shirt they didn't have, so he said he would mail it to TX when he got them in. Awesome family owned and operated establishment with amazing fried fish. A must try.

I was visiting for the weekend and wanted everything black owned. This place definitely lives up to the hype. The customer service was excellent! I ordered catfish which was perfectly hot, crispy and juicy, but not greasy. The sides were really good although I did not enjoy the coleslaw as much. I will say the Cajun option is extremely salty. The lemonade pepper was also a little salty, but not as much as the Cajun. However, the lemonade was 10/10!! I will definitely return.
