This location is the reason I stopped eating Zaxby’s after legitimately 2 decades of choosing them over Chick-fil-a.The manager decided to mouth off to me in front of my boyfriend and the whole lobby when I objected to him charging my card multiple times. He explained nothing to me, just kept swiping my card over and over. He acted like I wasn’t even standing there. Mr. Manager—looking about 20 years old—said that the card machine was broken, but the charges were showing up on my bank account. Mr. Manager had the nerve to tell me that I wasn’t allowed to tell him what to do with my debit card. Actually, it’s my card, and you’re working in customer service.I worked in the service industry for over 10 years before I graduated university and I never treated a single customer with such rudeness and misplaced authority. We waited at least 20 minutes to get our food on top of the nasty attitude from the manager. Then, we got in the car with our food and I found multiple hairs on my chicken. Really.This was roughly 4 months ago, but my boyfriend and I still talk about it often, because it was our worst restaurant experience ever. We say “at least it’s not like that Zaxby’s” when another place is giving *just okay* service. Yes, Zaxby’s, we use downward comparison to compare you to other restaurants so that we feel BETTER about how we’re being treated. Nightmare experience. I’m still mad about it.

This is probably the worst experience I have ever had at a Zaxby's. 20 minutes after ordered food we still didn't have food. We went up front and they said they had called our name but didn't use the microphone so nobody heard her. Food was cold and they argued about us not getting our slaw when we didn't. Then wanted to charge for it when it comes with that particular meal. And then they came by several times to inform us that the lobby closed in like 5 minutes when we had barely had time to eat our food. The Google page says they are open till 10:00 it wasn't until we got here that it was on the door in a very small place. And in general the attitudes were just nasty. Our family really likes Zaxby's but we normally go out of our way not to go to this one and tonight just reaffirmed that thought.

Speed was extremely slow last night. In the drive through, they were using one order, fulfilling it, then taking the next. That behavior looks great on a manager's report but isn't so great for the customers.

the cashier over the speaker was mumbling and slurring her words really bad to the point we couldnt understand her. after pulling up to the window im confident she is on something. maybe dont put people almost nodding off on headset. also it took forever. we sat there 10/15 minutes at the window before she came out and talked to us. also the order was incomplete and incorrect. we didnt wanna bother getting it fixed because we knew itd be as difficult as it was the first time. will likely not come back to this location.

Ordered 5 piece got 4 coke light ice full ice ordered egg rolls ask if I had sweet and sour sauce’s got none no zaxby sauce either very bad experience will be a long time before I go back drive only taking 1 orders at a time and still can’t get it right 6pm on 1/27/24

My food was good, but they barely toasted the toast. They forgot to give me one of my.orders of French fries. There was a little teenage girl working the drive through window, she wasn't very professional and she giggled with her co-worker the entire time. I'm certain that's how she left out my French fries.

We were extremely busy one Wednesday evening, so we decided to order the meal deal for pick up. The app wouldn't process, but that is not the worst issue. We went in to order, and the clerk behind the counter was incoherent and rude. We tried to explain what we wanted multiple times, and he finally seemed to understand. I specifically asked if everything was in the bag before we left, but shame on me for not checking. When we got home ready to feed our family, the boneless wing order was incorrect and half the order (fries, toast, sauces, etc.) were missing. I called the store and spoke to the manager, and she offered to put my name down so I could pick up the fries and toast another day (which somewhat surprised me, because at this point I had only said my order was incorrect!) They knew it was messed up when I called and wouldn't make it right. I asked for contact info for the regional manager, and the shift manager took my name and contact info for that person to call. I haven't heard anything yet! This was a $65 + order that was completely messed up, and all I was offered was some fries and toast!Very poor customer service and no resolution. I must say, we frequent Zaxby's quite regularly, but this is likely the last time at the E. Brainerd location. It will also likely impact my choice of restaurant overall in the future.

Service is almost always great, but the food is hit or miss. We try to go only when there is a line so we get fresh food. The boneless wings look like tenders dipped in sauce (this didn't use to be the case). Fries usually seem a little undercooked and need more seasoning. If the prices were cheaper, it wouldn't be as disappointing.

The last 3 times I tried to get food at the E Brainerd location have been a bad experience. To start, the X on the blue Zaxby's sign has been burned out for months. That's pretty basic and telling about how this place is managed. I went inside and they had to take my order at the drive through register, mixing orders with the cars. There was lots of confusion about who's food was who's. Another time, I tried to order but sat at the drive through speaker for 5 minutes... then just left. Also, the drive through line has been spilling out in to the road the last couple times I've driven by, creating a traffic hazard.I was never a huge Zaxby's fan but kept trying to go there at my kid's request. I know I'm just a drop in the bucket, but I'm done with Zaxby's now. Where there's smoke there's fire.

One of the worst fast food experiences. Sat in the drive thru for 15-20 minutes with no one getting on the mic for the car in front of me. I had to call the store and ask if something was wrong with the drive thru and then they got on the mic. Then I ordered a great 8 meal and they gave me a 5 piece meal. We’re waiting for our food and both girls working we’re just sitting on their phones still not taking orders for the line behind me. Clearly there was no manager on duty tonight because this was an awful experience.
