We ate the restaurant once and will never go back. I love Mexican food but this place was the worst. I've heard good things about the taco truck which I think most of these reviews are from

Went there for lunch today for the 1st time. Food was delicious. Prices were very reasonable. I ordered 2 shrimp tacos, 2 carnita street tacos and an order of grilled nopales (cactus). My bf ordered pork carnitas plate. Our service was less than great. There was 1 server waiting on all the tables in the whole restaurant. She was however very friendly but it seems like there should be more waitstaff present. My bfs tea glass was completely empty I had to ask for a refill and it was a good 10 minutes before she brought a refill. Also it was uncomfortably warm inside to dine. Summary- food was delicious but need more waitstaff and turn the thermostat down.

We went for the first time tonight and the food was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is wonderful. Justin was our waiter and he was equal parts adorable and awesome. Made sure we had everything we needed. He is who we will request every time we come here from now on...which will be as often as we are in town. This is now our spot for legit Mexican food.

Just moved to Clarksville from California...Very happy to find authentic Mexican food restaurant. I had the Cane Asada Fries...pretty good! Can't wait to try some of their other entrees.

Probably the best meal I ever had @ LaCasa Tequeria tonight. I had the Pollo Monterrey and it was amazing. Thought it was going to be chicken with cheese sauce but was much better. Whatever spices they add with chicken and cheese was killer. Is my new favorite meal

Hit or miss. Fish and shrimp tacos were amazing. However when they are busy quality of their menu takes a dive.

Despite living down the street from this place for the past six months, I hadn't visited. I will have to live with that mistake. While it's not what you'd find in an Abuela's kitchen, it certainly doesn't disappoint. While there, I ordered the Pollo Monterrey (Chicken Monterrey), churros, a sweet tea, and a Jack & Coke. First, I arrived slightly before the dinner rush and was seated immediately. It's a smaller space, but it has plenty of tops available. The tables and floors were clean. The decor was standard Mexican chic, not gimmicky, just enough to let you know you were in a restaurant that served central American food. The waitstaff was friendly and well attentive. My food came out about 5-10 minutes after I ordered. The speed leads me to believe all the items were made for service and not made fresh. The speed made sense, given I came right before dinner, where they'd have food prepped to avoid delays. They brought out the basket of chips and salsa immediately after I sat down; both were pretty standard. I don't know if the salsa was fresh, but it didn't have the preservative taste like some other restaurants. The Pollo Monterrey served in small strips of white meat was tasty, and covered in queso Blanco with green chiles. It came with a side of Spanish rice and refried beans, shredded lettuce, sour cream, and pico de gallo. Using the chips to eat is what I recommend. That way, it's pretty much chicken nachos supreme. The sweet tea was good, not tooth-achingly sweet. The Jack & Coke was served in a small glass but was well made and balanced. As for the churros, I got them to go, so I can't speak to how good they are warm, although they were enjoyable and not greasy. All in all, I'd recommend the place if you're looking for a safe, not-too-exotic Mexican restaurant. Although if you're interested, they do have a few options such as lingua or tripe. They also have a few tilapia dishes I would like to try next time I go. If you have finicky eaters with you, they have cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets available to order.
