Our first tea tasting! Our teas were so so good! You can have them hot, cold, sparkling, with beer/wine/champagne. I loved my vegan-ized grilled cheese and hubs loved his impossible meatball sandwich! We highly recommend the tea flight.The service is wonderful and the building is awesome. We went here yesterday for my birthday and it was amazing! We each got a tea flight so we could try them all and it was so worth it! You can get your tea either hot, iced, sparkling, beer, wine, sparkling. I loved my vegan grilled cheese with basil, and my hubs loved his impossible meatball sandwich! I highly recommend this charming old style place, the service was wonderful also.

My wife and I have been to The Mad Herbalist multiple times and it never disappoints! Our meals are always prepared and plated perfectly. The staff is quite friendly and welcoming. The worst part of the experience is the internal struggle when choosing between all the delicious food!

From the phone call I made to make reservations through the handling of the bill, the service and atmosphere were top notch. We felt comfortable and welcomed the whole time. We sat upstairs, which was particularly nice for people with sensory issues. The food was great, as were the teas. Totally worth the drive!

I can't give this place enough stars. My husband and I just had our wedding here and we used the onsite catering services. From the food, planning and coordination prior, the service the day of, and the ambience of the place, we could not have picked a better location than the Mad Herbalist. Lis and her staff blew us away and our guests have all been raving about just how perfect everything was. Thank you guys for making our day even more special!

Servers are always really friendly and excellent at explaining the menu and teas to anyone new. The food is always great and they have flights so you can try several different teas. The place itself offers outdoor seating, indoor downstairs and upstairs. They sell a few local made items as well.

I moved here 2 years ago and this place is hands down my favorite place to eat! Not only are they super friendly, they have gluten free and vegan options that taste amazing! I have never been disappointed with what I've gotten here. Any time a friend wants to go to lunch I say The Mad Herbalist! Even if you don’t have time to enjoy their lovely cafe, they make amazing food to go!! I just loved their pesto grilled cheese, house made potato chips and super fresh arugula! The box they pack it in is perfect. Their super friendly attitude is such a joy! Don’t deny yourself…stop in.Outside seating is great! But go with the high tops. Picnic table seating has benches that are too high & make dining tough on lower back.
