Such a great hidden gem of Clarksville! Great craft cocktails, great live music, Kareoke, and such a friendly staff. I’ll be here regularly for sure.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Three Rifles Distilling Co. The owners were kind enough to open their doors and offer us a free tasting and tour, even when they were closed. Their bourbon is impressive, especially considering its young age. I personally really enjoyed their Rootbeer liquor. I'm thrilled that they're located downtown.

Three Rifles Distilling, the only licensed distillery in Clarksville, TN, had their grand opening today. They had live bands, food trucks, and professional bartenders on site. They are in the basement of the downtown location of Star Spangled Brewing, at 614 N. Spring St, just off Riverside Drive. This also makes the site a "brewstillery."They will be producing canned cocktails in the future, but already have a few spirits available, all with great American Sprit names. My favorite was the Independence Tennessee Bourbon Whiskey, which is the only true four grain whiskey made by a small craft distiller. The Bourbon is young, at 3 years, but very smooth. There is a little ethanol on the front and finish, but it is rich in between with some caramel and vanilla carrying the weight and a little light spice hiding in the corners. I recommend that you give it a try.The Constitution Rum is a very clean white rum that has just a touch of sweetness but would not be out of place in any cocktail that calls for a white spirit. The Revolutionary Rye gives you everything you would expect in a 100% rye whiskey, but is tame enough to have a clean finish without the jaw clenching burn that is common with so many ryes.Go and support a local company that has high hopes, strong patriotism, and a nice choice of spirits. I'm glad I did.
