Last time I was at Ft. Campbell I passed this place maybe 9 or 10 times and didnt notice it. This time an Army retiree took me and a few others there. I'm deeply ashamed of myself for not having paid more attention. Every time I visit a post I try to hit as many non-franchised places as I can. I've been to several Puerto Rican places at different posts and this place was hands down the best Ive had. I had ribs, the others in my party had chicken. A lot of places seem like they hold back on seasoning, but Tropicana's food was very nicely seasoned, even the rice! I will absolutely hit Tropicana if I go back to Ft. Campbell!

Being new to the area I’m looking for places to bring the family when they come. They have a everyday menu and a steam bar with a menu that changes daily. For 2 huge servings of meat and Rice and beans was $16!! This is more than enough for 2 people!! Flavor is GREAT and the girl at the counter was very helpful and friendly. Definitely a family vibe.. like going to a Tia house ?10/10 recommend

Super chill! Like you’re in your mom’s house feel ! The food is amazing! The sazon is on point! I have had the beef stew, pork and the chicken and loved it all! The natural juices are even better! Hands down one of the best Dominican cuisine I’ve had in a long time!
I love this place. The staff is always friendly and they even will courtesy call if you place a delivery order with a 3rd party (Uber , DoorDash , Etc.) if they are out of something. My favorites have to be the fried pork platter or the stewed chicken and the MANGU!! Also be sure to get someof their home made hotsauce while you’re there. This food reminds me of my childhood. Authentic Dominican cuisine

Our friends invited us to go eat for lunch, the husband being from Puerto Rico, and it was delicious! Like home cooking deliciousness. Huge portions with the buffet, delicious plantains with pork and rice! Will definitely be back. Also my son has a serious dairy allergy, almost everything was safe for him to eat. Kind people, delicious food.

Been there 4 different time, they have white and yellow rice and maybe 2 to 4 different meats that’s it. Been there at noon, afternoon, night, and repeat. Nothing! They never have the food that’s advertised. Taste is not bad but you could tell it’s a quick buck business. No effort.
