My friend and I stopped here for Sunday brunch and I was pleasantly surprised by the food. It was amazing. When we arrived, there was only one table occupied. We took quite a bit of time to decide (because everything looked so good on their menu); I ended up ordering the House Plate. The food was so delicious. The beans were flavorful and I was so happy at the amount on my plate. The avocado was creamy and the egg was a great addition on top that tied the whole dish together. I don't know what this piece was called, but it looked like I had some rice cracker things that were crunchy and provided a nice texture. Lastly, my favorite part were the grilled sweet plantains. They were caramelised and had the perfect amount of sweetness. Also the side salad tasted very fresh and healthy. The House Plate as a dish was so well balanced, there were healthy fats, protein, carbs, fiber. It had different textures from the various components that made up the dish. Visually it looked very nice too.Service was friendly and nice. I will rave about this place anywhere and to anyone who listens lol. The 5 star ratings are well deserved and I look forward to coming back here in the near future :)

I was quite impressed with this unique restaurant and two restaurants in one. The restaurant is on one side and smoothie bar/ ice cream.I have to give a shout-out to Bianca for the yummy smoothie the first day I came in. She made me a blueberry, honey, and peanut butter smoothie. I was given an option for thick or more thin. I chose the thick options and enjoyed it. Bianca also took the time to explain the history and all the gluten-free options I could choose from, which she didn't have to but took the time. That was a great touch for someone doing a review.I heard so much about how good the veggie burger was. I came back another day to try it. The bun was made out of corn and flat, but the burger was very juicy with lettuce, tomatoe, and onion. I was also happy they had a dedicated frier so I could have the steak fries.Would I recommend this restaurant? AbsolutelyWould I return to this restaurant? AbsolutelyDon't take my word for it. Go see for yourself. It's a vegan / plant base restaurant. The price was reasonable for the high quality food.Dietary restrictions: Gluten allergy

My husband and I visit almost every week. The food is great. I've tried some things I'd never had before and liked them all. I think we've ordered nearly everything on the menu. The prices are also reasonable.

Costs $3 more than what the menu says for the “lunch special” + wasn’t good at all. If you knew the menu price wasn’t correct, why didn’t u tell me on the phone?? Wont be back or recommend this place 2 ne1

This has been my go-to. I have been a regular here for the last few years, often meeting one of my sons or my wife here for lunch during the week. The people are always, without exception, super friendly and the food has been great. And healthy.I went today and I'm not sure I want to go back. The menu has changed within the last week, since we were there last. The daily specials used to be the thing I'd get every time. The beet salad with the daily special was awesome. But now the daily special is a bowl of soup, with a side, and the price has gone up substantially. I'm not a soup guy, but my son ordered me the special because he arrived first. The soup was fine, but the price was just way too much. The other dishes on their menu are also good but they don't fill me up.I checked for the beet salad to see if they still have it. They do, but a side was $8. So I didn't get any. I don't know if this place is raising their prices because Hi-Su, the other new vegetarian place that just opened up nearby, has such high prices and are usually pretty busy, but if so... it's too bad. Inflation isn't that high.I may go back to Tropical, but I wont' be a regular. I'm actually very sad about it!The folks that run this place, again, are A+. But these latest changes are disappointing. I wish them luck and success.
