Apparently, Cajun Catfish has shut down for good. I have tried to eat there for a few weeks now and there is no sign of life at all in the place. It is a complete shame since they were one of the very few good places to eat in the entire Memphis area. To be such a big city, along with all the outlying towns and such, there really are very few decent restaurants in the entire Memphis metro area. One thing Collierville desperately needs is a few good restaurants. With Cajun Catfish closed, there are maybe two left. I am hoping something else that is just as good will move into the building.

Food was great and our server Macy was phenomenal and very helpful. Will definitely return for another meal.

First time coming here. Place had a terrible sewage smell in the entrance outside. We got seated in a booth that had cushion-less seats that were torn. We switched to a table instead for more comfort. We started off with Fried Pickle Spears, they were very delicious! Followed it by New Orleans Gumbo that didn't have much in it, it was mostly gravy in a bowl. For the entree we got the Shrimp Pot that had great seasoning. The shrimp were huge, very few sausages, and the corn was old. We tried this place out based on reviews but don't plan on returning.

Love their fried catfish and the vegetables were seasoned just right not to salty.

I've been coming to this place for about 4 years. It's always been "decent". Then the year covid hit and they only did take out, the quality of food went way down. This time though, was completely different! They've actually stepped up their game and EVERYTHING was fantastic!! Food: Fried shrimp, Southern fried catfish, gumbo, it was all really good! And the service was even better!! Only reason it's getting 4* instead of 5*, is being in the Memphis area, they should offer several more Memphis craft beers, especially since Memphis has such great beer! We will definitely be going back more often!!!

While it does feel the waitresses move with a purpose.I enjoyed my experience, I think when you throw "cajun" in your name you set yourself up for high expectations. My dine-in plate was delightful (I avoid the fried option) my to-go order was underwhelming (2 pc catfish looked like nuggets) because the waitresses were so nice I decided not to post the pic. They have room for improvement

Always good. Cajun catfish fillets, cream spinach, cheese grits and hushpuppies was my order and it was scrumptious. Omg, the food is always delicious.

It was not closed. Call and check for yourself before going. Food was great. The southern fried catfish was on Point! I got 2 pieces and quickly discovered I should have ordered one piece. Huge portions compared to many others. Mom had crab cakes and they were huge. Not over-priced so you could truly taste the crab. Katelyn took service up to a new level. The bread pudding was perfect.

Really was not impressed. Catfish was better the next day tho. And little pricey too.

We don't go out often, and this will be the first ans last time we eat here. Half the tables were empty but we had to stand in the lobby for 20 min waiting. Terrible service. Fries were cold and soggy and catfish was tasteless.

Excellent food. I was sorry to see that they are discontinuing the all you can eat, but I understand. However, the regular items are more than enough. I never got much more than the first plate on the all you can eat anyway. We did the crab cakes as an appetizer. Very good. Nice flavor and good sauce.Wife did the 3 piece fish with the fries and green beans. The fillets were very nice size and well seasoned (cajun).I got the Basket with the shrimp, fish and chicken. Very good. I got the fries and on the waiter's suggestion, I tried the creamed spinach, which was excellent. I'll be getting that as a regular item on future visits. Not like any other spinach dish I've ever tried. Very satisfying. They are currently open Wed-Sun 4pm-8pm. They are doing social distancing in table settings and masks are required. So good food in a safe environment.
