Terrible food which was served cold after waiting for almost a hour and to top it off they got nasty when we ask what was taking so long. Must have been several hundred flys and the table were filthy and floor was greasy and slick.
Food is always great but had to clean our table and it's was really smoky (assuming burning grease) and we smelled like deep fried food when we left! Yuck! But HANDS DOWN BEST BURGERS in Columbia!!

The food is good but as I’m sitting there eating my food a roach was crawling on the seat beside me! Another time as I’m at the counter waiting on a shake a roach crawls across the counter.. When I showed the girl at the register she just grabs a napkin and scrapes it off without cleaning the counter.. ? Keep the shake, I’m good….

Homemade, best-i've-ever-had coleslaw? Check! Krinkle-cut, perfectly and freshly-fried and salted fries? Check! Four (4) not overly breaded or oily and seemingly-never-frozen chicken strips? Check! Wholesome, homemade bonus dinner roll on the house? Check! All this for under $9, paired with service with a smile and a nice clean floor? Where's my wallet?P.S.Eating all of this and not feeling the inevitable fast-food-gut-bombed sick stomach? Priceless! Seriously, no more fast food for me. I truly can't wait to try the catfish, bone-in chicken and other menu items next. Thanks for being the restaurant of light in the city of food darkness, Jumbo House. Bravo.

I've eaten here twice. One of the best burgers I've ever had. Some of the best chicken tenders I've ever had. Mashed potatoes and gravy were house made, yeast rolls was excellent, slaw was the BEST I've ever had. Everything was incredibly fresh and tender. Portion is perfect (a little more than I can typically eat). Price is on point. Wayyyy better than any fast food joint and with better prices. Keep it up, Jumbo House!
A throwback to the family owned burger places of the 1960’s and 1970’s. In fact, Jumbo House has been in business since 1975. A favorite of locals, which is why it is still in business. Friendly staff. Great burgers!
