They serve home made tamales on Friday and Saturday so TAKE ADVANTAGE. Slasa verde wasnmade in-house. So good. Service was quick. It is a smaller building so can be a little cramped which is the only reason for 4/5 on atmosphere.

La Guadalupana has the best empanadas in the south and I wouldnt be afraid to say, south of the border as well.. Its a very small eatery along Washington Avenue @ 11th Street (sitting on a hill) you will miss it if not careful. I strong recommend visiting this nice little restaurant. Family owned and operated from Grandmother on down. They are super nice and respectful. I love them.
