“We enjoyed lunch today and it was delicious! I had a piled high bbq sandwich and hubby had a delicious burger. The fries were cooked perfectly, browned just right! The atmosphere and decor is fabulous! From the outside you have no idea how pretty and cozy it is. The highlight was meeting Kurt and Victoria, the sweet and young owners. They are doing a fantastic job! Give them a try!“

“Everything we had was fantastic! We started with the fried green tomatoes. They were absolutely the BEST we’ve ever eaten, and it only got better after that. My husband got the Tennessee meatloaf with Parmesan mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts. I ordered the filet sliders and homemade chips & dip. Everything was amazing. “Ordered take out so we could sit at a park on this gorgeous day! Perfect lunch for the park. Not a huge fan of chicken salad but I loved the chicken salad I chose. All meals come with a pickle, side and cookie. The broccoli salad is to die for!“
“I had beef wanting to try the BBQ at HWY 70 BBQ for a while and I’m so glad I finally got to try it. I got the Loaded BBQ Potato with their delicious sweet BBQ sauce. They gave me enough food for 2 or more to eat and it was so delicious. The meat is tender & juicy so well cooked. The potato was huge and had all the fixings, butter, sour cream, shredded cheese & bacon topped with a huge amount of the pork meat. I am a sauce girl so I ordered extra sauce & I’m so glad I did because I had enough food left over for lunch the next day so the extra sauce came in handy. I will definitely be going back for more & try some other things on their menu. If you are looking for some great Southern comfort food then this is the place for you. 5 stars for them just doesn’t seem enough, it’s just mouthwatering good, good, good!!“
“I was very impressed with my first visit to the O'Charleys in Cookeville. The restaurant was very clean with a very comfortable ambiance. The food was delicious and came out very fast. Both my sister and I ordered fish/shellfish dishes and they were cooked to perfection! The highlight was our server Sam. She was attentive, friendly, and responsive to our requests. I look forward to my next visit.“
“I like the redesign. Having the registers right next to the entrance to the dining area was always an inconvenience. The relocated registers help a little with the congestion.Parking: Parking wasn't available out front. Most of the available parking was to the side of the building.“
“When possable I search out local cafes or dinners. This diner is one of the best. There are lots of things to look at from Elvis, old gas pump, lots of signs. The bathroom has an old oil drum that was made into a sink. The lights are gas pump nosels with a drop light bulb. The place was very busy for breakfast which is a good sign. The waitress was very good and the bill not too bad“
