My family and I are new to the area as we recently bought a house this area and cooking has been the last thing on my mind. Came by on Friday and boy did everyone else have the same thing in mind! We ordered a family meal and thought it would be too much, but boy was I wrong. We sat in the lobby and waited on our food, saw what I'm assuming to be managers interacting with the young lady's which made my heart happy, because most days managers just sit back and bark orders. And overall there seemed to be a great level of respect on all ends which is so refreshing.All in all the food was absolutely divine, my family asked for it again on Sunday which I obliged and whipped in and picked up yet another family meal and my husband asked for it again on today lol.You all have a definite winner with the Battle family that's for sure.

Why Not
Ate lunch there yesterday and witnessed the foreign manager completely disregard the safety of her staff.A couple came in and the guy began threatening the to go behind the counter and harm the young lady working drive-thru.Instead of the manager defusing the situation she added to it by going outside with the pair talking and laughing with them.It was heartbreaking to watch. I’d like to commend the young lady for ignoring him and prioritizing her customers. Yet the actions displayed by management was not cool.Get this once she returned inside 10mins or so later she began yelling at the young woman who had been verbally attacked moments earlier.She told her to leave which I found odd because she never asked the guest that were disrupting the business to do so.The staff questions were valid. She asked the manager what’s the procedure for disgruntled customers and if she was being handled in this fashion due to the manager knowing them.The manager only response was they’re not customers. The staff member asked why did she give them an employee discount if they’re not on the clock or in uniform.That only fueled the manager’s rage more. Apparently the guy use to work there and his female companion is a present employee of this company now.All in all it was disgusting to watch how the manager try to chastise and antagonized the young lady. I was so concerned for her safety because she was alone in that moment.The manager just did not care she continued to get louder and louder with this young lady because she wrong and it was obvious. When the young lady walked away the manager chose to discuss her as if she was nothing or no one to what I’m guessing was her husband who was standing there staring her down the entire time in front of me and the two other guests in the lobby.Again I commend her for handling herself so well but I hate that she even had to experience any of it.
Was given a recommendation from my son to try this establishment. He loves this place. I myself was not impressed. How can you get by only selling tenders and Ore Ida fries and manage to dry them out to the point of uneditableness? I'd honestly rather take my chances with KFC from here on out.

Visit date: October 22, 2023 noon-ishThis was our first time ever trying Guthrie's, and it will absolutely NOT be our last time!! It is important to know, before I get into the details of my review, that this location was short staffed and only had 2 women working. They may have lacked extra assistance, but these women did NOT lack in anything else. They were relatably friendly and efficient even while juggling between in-resturant diners, the drive thru, and food delivery services. Not once did I feel overlooked or put out in any way. I was surprised at how much food we got for our money, but more than that, it was hot, fresh, and cooked to absolute perfection. We couldn't have asked for anything better. My boyfriend and I both had food left over for later after getting a "box" each. I can't overstate our experience. And despite being busy and short staffed, the restaurant itself was immaculate. I even got a peek into the kitchen while purchasing extra sauce (so delicious), and it was surprisingly clean and organized. And the cook looked up with a genuine smile on her face as she went about her task. I don't know what you're paying either of these women, but I guarantee that it isn't enough. We fully intend to be repeat customers!!

I tried them out for the first time. I was hungry and in the neighborhood, so why not. I realized that they only sell boneless chicken. I had the tenders and fries with their special sauce. It was just ok. I won't say that I will not go back, but I will say that I am not in a hurry to go back. The servers were very courteous and kind. The price point was good as well.
