“Went there some time ago with my friends, had an amazing experience there. The atmosphere really made me feel I was back in vietnam. The food was simply to die for, especially that delectably delightful and delicious pho. The chicken rolls with peanut sauce were also another amazing side dish that I would recommend. Plus the serving sizes are good for a group or for yourself. I will share photos of my experience below. 10/10 PLACE. WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANY FOODIESParking: Good amount of parking spaces for a restaurant if it’s sizeKid-friendliness: Good atmosphere for all“

“A hidden jem in Cordova!! First time visiting this restaurant. A Vietnamese friend recommended it to me!! We were a group of 4. Some of us ordered pho, the bang Mi sandwich and fried rice!! Everything was delicious! The sandwich (the short ribs) was really yummy. Bread super toasty. The fried rice was a big portion. 3 people could've eaten from that plate along! Also we had a soup. It was roast beef Banh Mi something. Can't remember the exact name but omg...so flavorful!! The service was decent. Only one waiter. But she really tried to be attentive and came and check many times on us!! I hope y'all give it a try!!“

“Excellent food... it's worth the wait. We ordered on a Saturday evening. It took about an hour and a half for the food to be picked up. The restaurant is closed for restaurant dining, but able to pick up. Have to wait in the parking lot until your food is ready.“

“I love Ryu! I've been eating here for close to 20 years through shifts in management and sushi chefs. T my favorite menu items are the Pho Shrimp (I like to add dumplings on the side) and the Fire Roll (idk if this is technically on the current menu, as it's an old item, but they'll still make it).“

“Loi and his family have been making great Vietnamese food here for years. They definitely make some of the best phở, bún riêu, bún bò Huế, bánh mì, bún thịt nướng, chả giò, gỏi cuốn, and cháo gà in Memphis among many other outstanding dishes. If you know you know, if you don't know you should find out. This place is all about great Vietnamese food. The beef pepper steak is really good, too, and I think they have some other Chinese options that are probably pretty good, too, but it's a Vietnamese place so you should really take advantage of their specialties. The restaurant itself is not fancy, but the food is extra fresh, especially since there is a market right next door. Some people may complain that it doesn't look super updated or that it's a little rough around the edges, but this is a family operation, they work hard for long hours. They don't have a lot of help, and they have very reasonable prices for the high quality of food and service. We absolutely love everything about Phó Só 8. Try the avocado bubble tea or a cafe sua da for dessert!Vegetarian options: If you want, they will substitute tofu for a lot of things. Just ask!Dietary restrictions: They are very accommodating with special requests including dietary restrictions.“

“I absolutely love this place. i've tried nearly all the pho places in memphis and i must say this is my favorite one because their pho has the most flavor at a lesser price! (probably a dollar difference lol). It's a very quaint environment, and the soup just gives a very homey feeling. i've eaten there once and started to come back every week after-- no joke! i go every week, sometimes multiple times a week haha, probably not good for my budgeting but to me its so worth it. The server doesn't really speak much but that's okay! The service is not bad and it is quick. every single time i go i get the chicken pho and the fried egg rolls and i spend $21.52 every time. i went yesterday and i'm going again today lol. I even had to invite my mom to show her how good it was. Enjoy guys!“

“We visited the place for a quick dinner on a weekday evening. My friends tried pho while I got their lemongrass chicken vermicelli bowl. The portion size was great with fresh leafs and herbs with crunchy peanuts and lemongrass chicken. Overall, the bowl had a healthy portion and I loved it.“
