Me and my girlfriend decided to get the ribeye for the crazy price of $29 per steak. My steak was decent, but her steak was very thin and was told they actually are the same size hers was just cut thin? I ordered a blue moon beer, but was served a michelob ultra with a orange slice.

I've been there, don't need to go back. Extremely slow service (50 minutes from order to deliver) food was OK, nothing special. Glasses were empty way too long. All in all, it's not a horrible place, just not for me.

So I e had some weeks for this to marinate but I will be honest….I would not go here until they can get some staff. We had a reservation and was told while being taken to our table that it may be a half hour before we are waited on. Not that big of deal but basically we were in the place for 2 1/2 hours. The poor staff could not keep up. Our waitress was nice but very sparse. Food took forever, refills were non existent, and then we waiting another half hour just to pay the bill. We will come back because the food was good but this place needs some help.

The food is really not good at all. The rolls were the best thing. The waiter was good but truly the food was terrible and very small portions for the price.

This place is comically bad. I ordered Alfredo for me and my significant other a couple weeks back and I ended up having to throw it out and order something else cause of how bad the food was. I have chalked it up to either the cook was on drugs or the cook is just insanely terrible at their job. This is the first bad review I’ve ever put on Google so that should tell you how bad this was. Not to mention the little teenage girl was very rude over the phone and in person. Gotta respect that consistency I guess. Needless to say I have ate here hundreds of times but this experience was so bad I will never be back.

Prime rib was amazing and I ordered rare and actually got rare...
Have been a resident of Crossville for many years. Brass Lantern always had excellent food, great servers and an excellent menu. Now the menu is just OK. Was charged for top shelf drink, didn’t ask for a brand name. Some items on the menu weren’t available. Wish we could go back to the old owner.

Have eaten lunch and dinner here many times. Really enjoy the black mountain burger with the house made chips for lunch. The pork chop or filet have been excellent for dinner. Try the carrot cake for dessert, you won’t be disappointed! Service is good and staff is always friendly.

The food here is SO delicious! The menus are thoughtful and inviting. Jill and her staff work very hard to make sure everyone who walks in the door feels like family. I’ve have SEVERAL excellent meals here. The whole staff really cares about your experience and it shows. Highly recommend!
