The food was o k. Certainly not the hype that I had expected after reading the reviews. The restaurant is cleaning cute. The server was very nice, just very busy. Portions of the food were good. The fish had been flash Fried it look like very thin and curly. The hush puppies were delicious in the fries, were good.

Up date 3-21-24 sad to say the food was even worse this time. Atmosphere depression...if you were not sad when you walked in you will be when you walk out. Cant say i have eaten a a worse place in long time...so sorry....will not be back ?Very clean....worked hard to clean even bottles of condiments on the table after every customer....very nice people and waitresses were amazing....just wish I could say the same about the food?
Great salt and pepper catfish and shrimp. Hush puppies are great also. Tried the cod and flounder, but cod was dry and flounder was very fishy smelling. I would stick to the catfish and shrimp. Cole slaw is ok, but would be better if it was shredded not chopped super fine.

Went around 1pm on a Saturday. Barely any wait, even though the restaurant looked busy. Lots of tables. Service was great. Hushpuppies were good. Couldn't eat all of them though. Food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. My husband could not finish all of his fried seafood combo. The only thing that I would change... the coleslaw was too finely chopped for my taste. Enjoyed the lemon zest in the tartar sauce. Definitely worth the stop.
