“Wow! Our drinks were so good!! Iced strawberry shortcake latte, s'mores frappe, hot white chocolate lavender latte. We were all extremely pleased and happy with flavor and size! Highly recommend!”
“What can I say that hasn't been said? We are locals and have been going to this bar since it opened. The first time we visited, my husband said that if I had taken him to the bar blindfolded and then taken the blindfold off, he would have thought that he was in a bar in New York City! The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff are knowledgeable and superb mixologists, and the decor has to be seen to be believed! Be sure to check out the speakeasy, but only if you have the password!”
“I’ve been wanting to try this place and finally had the time to stop in. The people are really nice and I enjoyed having something really good to eat that was different for around here. I plan on stopping by more often now. Thank you for the good food and conversation! I hope your business thrives!”
“Had a Reuben and fries ?hub had a steak and fries, and some homemade coleslaw. It was a proper med rare. Food was better than expected. Clean, jiffy service. We will go there ”
“The BEST authentic cuban sandwiches we've ever had and we have eaten cuban food in several areas. My husband had the Cuban sandwich and I had the Big Pan Con Bistec (steak sandwich). They were generous portions (enough for two meals each), and the flavor was awesome. The service was wonderful and very attentive. Be sure not to leave without getting some of her amazing rum cakes also.”
“Think we just found our new little tradition! Phenomenal food! We had been hiking earlier in the day and stopped in here. We had the Lasagna which was absolutely balanced between the meat and cheese and topped it off with the Key Lime Pie. All the staff was so very friendly and attentive. We live in Ga but our next hike back to Turtletown Creek Falls, we will be stopping in! We even got a TShirt! Thank you for the wonderful service and food!”
“I only have good things to say about Buck Bald Brewing. They are located in a converted gas station and they've managed to retain the retro gas station feel of the place. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They have the outdoor tables in a tent and someone came around to turn on the heater as soon as they saw us sit at a table beside it. The draft list had a little bit of everything. I ordered the Bucks So Hard Berry Blast Tea. It was a hard tea with both fruit and hibiscus notes. It was a very refreshing alternative to beer. I can see why it's so popular with both locals and visitors to the area.”
“We were checking out the breweries in the area and stumbled upon Copperhill. We were so glad we did. The beertender was so friendly and helpful. It is a cool place in a small town. The Georgia Tennessee line cuts through the middle of the place and is lined off for each state. We will go back!”
“Meatballs were a fail, not sure why they were absolutely delicious just a few months back. Main courses were great, we had the salmon and pasta and the cannelloni. Atmosphere wasn’t great maybe I’m a stickler but paper tables covers and a few other things made it feel a bit odd. Otherwise had a good experience and the waitress was phenomenal! She didn’t hassle us when we weren’t pleased with the meatballs and served us with respect.”
“Such amazing food and people! The food truck was at the campground we were staying at and we went two nights in a row for dinner. The dawgs, burgers, loaded fries, and dessert were all amazing! ?Thank you so much!”
“We were visiting from SC. There are no apple orchards where we live and we've never picked apples. This was a great experience and we had so much fun! Prices are very reasonable. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, not only about the apples, but about the items inside of the apothecary as well. Thanks for a great afternoon!”
“Went there twice while visiting Murphy, NC this past week. Great atmosphere, great food, great service! Andy makes you feel like a long lost friend when you meet him! Rich, too! We'll definitely be going to this bar every time we visit!”
“Turkey, bacon and swiss on a pressed hoagie with arugula and balsamic glazed onions. Sided by homemade potato salad. Lunch pain gone! Coffee Milk Stout to wash it down - mmmm”
“OMGosh!!!! What a delicious Philly Cheese Steak!!!! In addition, I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana with Spaghetti and Garlic Knots. Soooo yummy!!! It’ll be my go to place for pizza, subs, or delicious Italian when I’m not in the mood to cook, but definitely in the mood for a great meal!!!”
“We went for a late lunch, everything was delicious. Really enjoyed their chips and salsa. Had the enchiladas parillos and they were really good! My husband had poblanos, my sons had a taco salad and the Philly tacos, everything disappeared, so good!”
“They were busy when we went. It isn't fancy dine in, if that's what your looking for. I absolutely loved the food. Very healthy and delicious if you choose to eat that way. Just a good combination of choices. Feels like a good old home town restaurant with a more upscale food choice.”
“We had low expectations coming to a BBQ restaurant in a small town in North GA, and boy was I wrong. I will be dreaming of our food for a long time. My husband ordered the ribs and I got the Brunswick stew. Now, I love Brunswick stew but I am very particular. Any and all restaurant that carries it, I’m trying it. When I say that this place holds top 5 of my favorites, I’m not kidding. The ribs had great flavor (smokiness) and very tender. But I ordered the Brunswick stew for dine in…. And to go. The service was great and so pleasurable. The food came out quickly and they were so accommodating for our two young kids. If you are in the area, please stop by. I love to see local places up and running in years to come and support GOOD local places.Kid-friendliness: Kid options and they are so nice to kiddos. They are truly the type of place “it takes a village””
“Service was great!! Food was awesome, atmosphere was, well, uninspiring.. but that's ok. I didn't go there to look at the wallpaper lol I ordered the garlic roast beef protein bowl!! All the goodness without the bread!!! <3”
“We ate here for lunch on our vacation to north Georgia. It’s clearly family owned and not a chain. The service was friendly and genuine. The food came quickly and was hot, fresh, and flavorful. I enjoyed the grilled trout, and also had a bite of the grilled cheese my friend had ordered. It was buttery and crunchy on the outside, with a generous amount of melted cheese on the inside. The pickled beets were clearly homemade and quite tasty.Everyone in our party of 6 was happy with their meal, the portions were regular to large, and I feel the prices were fair. The front area of the restaurant also has a store where you can buy produce, jarred goods, and miscellanea like Christmas cactus baby plants and pumpkins. (They also had spotless bathrooms) Highly recommend, will be going back the next time we visit the area.”
“I go here a lot because it's conveniently located by my work. I can definitely say their food and drinks never disappoint. I wish I had pictures, but I'm the kind of person who inhales their food. I can recommend a few things for sure: top favorite the cheeseburger wrap, then there is their breakfast bowls which are pretty hefty in serving size. I love thier coffees, they have seasonal flavors, and their lattes have a nice strong coffee taste. Some are more sweet than others always ask the cashiers they know what to recommend. They also have weekly menu items. I usually just go in because there is plenty of seating, but they also have a drive thru too! Veteran friendly!”
“Love this place! Bartender was very kind, beer was ice cold, jukebox had great tunes! Wanted to get away from the crowd that we rode the train with and this spot was perfect. If you can't handle smoke don't come in. Literally walked in and 'I love this bar" was playing and we knew it was the place for us!”
“My teen son and I stoped here after golf after a recommendation from a local citizen....we enjoyed it. Simple menu but everything cooked to order (hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, etc). A couple of the locals that were there also said they have good biscuits for breakfast.”
“Great food. Good service. Authentic cuisine. A hidden gem. Chips and salsa came promptly. Had the shredded beef and also chicken soft tacos for lunch. Not the typical taco. Will definitely be back.”
“Absolutely delicious pizza. The staff is awesome at handling the crowds (from the train) and super friendly. Good craft beer selection too. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer and try more of their food (they happened to be out of Ricotta today so that limited a few items). Highly recommended!”
“Deli close to where the blue ridge train let off, we stopped by for a quick bite of lunch before we walked around. This deli has plenty of seating inside and outside. The outside seating is great for kids to run around while you wait for your food. The Ruben was great. The deli staff can handle the high crowds and are attentive while you eat and help clear tables. Would recommend stopping here if you want simple food.”
“We went for the second to Happy Bear Ice cream and this time besides the ice cream variety they also had cake Pops and brigadeiro fudge, and I could not eat just one lol. Simply delicious!Awesome service!”
“Had lunch here after our train ride from Blu Ridge. Our server Emily was fantastic. The food came out super quick- we were impressed with how fast. Between the 4 of us we had burgers, BLT, grilled shrimp and sides. Everything was excellent. Would definitely come again if we are ever back in town.”
“Don’t listen to all the complaints. My Reuben was very good. It was warm and not too wet or dry A little pricey for a sandwich. But I’m not mad. Lady at counter was nice and patient. Nice atmosphere ( different than just sitting in a regular old restaurant) I’d eat here again. Very nice!?”
“Good food for good prices. A local favorite. Owner is pretty cool. Food isn’t too spicy. We love their cheese dip. My favorite’s get there are the Chicken El Rio, the Veggie El Rio, and the Chicken Spinach. The chicken is usually pretty thin so a little tough but has good taste and never underdone.Vegetarian options: Their veggie El Rio is good. Has mushrooms, onions, and peppers in a tortilla with cheese sauce (if I remember correctly). It’s one of my favorites.”
“What a great little spot to drop the men folk while the women went hiking! LOL When we rejoined them after a great hike in the Cherokee National Forest we had the porter, the IPA and a brown beer all were very well balanced and tasty! The boys also loved the Carolina Reaper beer which had a slow heat but not awful. We also all loved the state line going through the middle of the brewery.”
