We were searching for local ow Ned restaurants near us. We found Cagle mountain family restaurant. We were surprised at how big the facility was with a 3 page menu! We started with the crispy cheese sticks then tried the mountain bacon burger,sweet tea and their Southern Famous applie pie logs. The price was fair,the food was fabulous and we give them 6 stars. It's close to fall creek falls where the leaves are changing a beautiful scenery and a great place to eat.
I ate here with my husband for the first time today. He has been here before and really loves the catfish. I will agree with him, the catfish was really good! He also had slaw, hushpuppies, and fries, and they were also pretty good. I ordered a BBQ pork potato. The prices seem to be set very reasonably, so I really don't wanna complain, but I would like to suggest adding a little more meat to the potatoes.Our waitress was very friendly and helpful.The restaurant is very spacious...read full review

While in the area for a couple of days, we stopped here for breakfast. Off the chain! Huge portions, delicious, and very reasonably priced.We enjoyed it so much that we came back for supper. Again, we had stellar service, huge amounts of AWESOME food, and at a great price point. If you're ever in the area, stop in, but be sure to bring a big appetite!
