Ambiance: There was no wait when we arrived on a Friday evening. Our server was pleasant, proficient, and prompt. However, the establishment appeared and smelled VERY far from fine dining; (reminded me of a Piccadilly restaurant after church on Sunday) and was nowhere near worth the price tag of the dishes served. Food: The oysters (served as a 6-count) and mac & cheese were okay, but my [not bacon wrapped] filet mignon tasted like watered-down, bland, burnt meat. There was absolutely NO seasoning (not even salt), no butter, absolutely nothing. My filet mignon was charred/burnt on one side and we all know that once meat is burned, nothing removes/replaces the burnt taste. My husband’s ribeye was also beyond bland as was his vegetable medley. We received butter when we were seated, but received a small loaf of bread following our entrees—which my husband said tasted like Colonial brand bread. Lastly, salads do not come with the steaks. A tad bit disappointed, but maybe my expectations were too high.

This is one of the cleanest place I ever eaten. The food is amazing and steaks are cooked exactly like you want it.

Luv this place. The waitresses there were very politeParking: We barely found a parking spot. We didn't have to wait for a table but they were packed. The food was awesome and so was the service

This was my first time to eat here. A friend had recommended it. It is a very busy restaurant so there might be a little of a wait. There is a large selection of food types. My partner had a steak and potato which he said was good. I got the kabobs with rice and asparagus. It was very tasty. I wasn't impressed with the "New Orleans Style Oysters" definitely not NO style. It was just oysters with cheese on top. Bloody Mary was ok I asked for a spicy one and it definitely wasn't. The waitress was very nice but overloaded with tables. So, she could not attend tables properly. She also needed to know the menu better but she was very sweet. I would recommend and I will definitely go back. We had oysters, jalapeño poppers, Tabouli, Steak entree, kabob entrée, Tom Collins (1), Bloody Mary (1) and a unsweetened tea all that was $115.00.

Our server was very friendly and helpful in answering questions about ingredients. A necessity when dining with food allergies. The food was prepared well and memorable. It's definitely worth the higher price tag.The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the absence of quiet dining spots. No booths anywhere. This meant that while the servers were hustling back and forth doing what they do, I was all too aware of it and found it difficult to relax. May not bug other people. Oh, and the Santa statue was determined to be creepy by my 7 year old. I don't disagree.

Favorite local Steakhouse!!! Have always had great service and great food. I can only remember once over the years something wasn't quite right with my food and they happily and apologetically fixed it right away. Will be top of my list when wanting to have a nice meal locally.

Abe's is pretty good, the best thing being the honey butter. The portions are small but it's not overpriced. On occasion, the steaks are too tough, but I've never had a problem with them making it right. All in all Abe's is a well known dyersburg establishment and pretty good. Are there better? Of course, it's no Ruth's Cris. But it has a Nice environment, and when my family is back in the Dyersburg area we always go by there. Abe is always courteous, however, he did fire me as a dishwasher at 17. It was my fault tho!!! I never hold it against him. This restaurant is a part of everyone's childhood in the Burg!

Best steak in West Tennessee! I got it blackened and was delicious. Service is superb and a great atmosphere to spend time with family. Highly recommend the stuffed potato.

Best steaks in Dyersburg and I've been to all the other steak restaurants. We were in Dyersburg for four weeks and went to Abe's 6 times. Will definitely go back.

This is where I go to get a steak in Dyersburg. My dad used to take me here when I was a little boy on Thursday nights with all the farmers. There was a bear in the corner and a cigarette machine. Some of the old timers would give me five bucks to get their cigarettes and then let me have the cash. Definitely a different age then than now This place is nostalgic to me. The owner now still has a good restaurant. The service is still great, the food is great, and so is the atmosphere. There are locals that eat there nearly every meal. They also have the best hamburger steak in town and the wings are good.
