I had a really good experience with them. The barbecue was delicious as well as the sides. I was treated very well and I will be giving them more of my business.

Great bbq and friendly staff and customers. We both selected the bbq sandwich which was piled high with just the right type and amount of slaw. Homemade bbq sauce. Customers brag about the hamburgers here and we will give that try next visit. Super service by Payton. Leave a little room for a deep fried pie.Parking: Big parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Family atmosphere but not a specific kids menu but plenty of kid size choicesWheelchair accessibility: Large spacious fining area and an ADA compliant restroom you could actually get to in a wheel chair.

I got the large bbq sandwich. My favorite food is bbq. And I have to say it’s the worst I’ve had in west Tennessee. I drive for a living and I stopped get me one. Meat wast shredded so I got chunks of the sandwich before I could even get to the rest of bun. It had lots of fat . I even had some burnt taste in there that wasn’t enjoyable. I don’t know bout the rest of menu but for a place to call their self bbq hut, I expected it to be better. I would get something other that a pulled pork sandwich from here if you get anything.

I have gone here for breakfast quite a few times and the waitress has always been friendly with me and my friends/family and the owner not so much...he's always acted like we were bothering him. This time the waitress was super rude too. We ordered our food and the bbq nachos were TRASH! We sent them back and the waitress bout spilled em on our table cause she snatched em up so quick. I'll never go back again just because of how we were treated. I don't wanna give my money to someone that treats us like that.

Called in an order and was very specific about how to cook my food as in hash browns well done and bacon crispy. Had to send food back because of it being undercooked and greasy. Not the first mishap and when you bring it to their attention they get upset. I want to eat what I pay for.

Both my man and I decided to try this place as we been looking for a great local BBQ place that being with the name BBQ Hut one would assume that BBQ would specialize in major BBQ food and choices! When you walk in you see a very large white board menu.On the left you see exactly 3 items of the BBQ nature mixed in with non BBQ items chicken tenders (well they do offer to add bbq sauce to that one as bbq fried chicken), pork chops, country fried steak, hamburgers, cheese burgers. But wait they will be willing to add BBQ Sauce to these items if so wanted. They had bbq ribs (which my man ordered! Way over done and dried out even with all the extra sauce put on them for $12), pulled pork for a sandwich and again bbq fried chicken! They didn’t have country style ribs, short ribs, sliced bbq beef as the usual BBQ place would have. I only ordered French fries because I had my mouth watering for a platter of country style ribs, pulled pork and short ribs with all the fixings of corn on cob, coleslaw and homemade bbq baked beans! Just From what my man got was way over priced for dried out and over cooked beef ribs like it had been cooked at least 2-3 days ago and reheated several times. The center of the whiteboard listed all their side dishes and drinks. It did offer a platter but only got a choice of the ONLY 3 BBQ items on the menu from the left. Now their biggest menu items are listed on the right. ALL BREAKFAST!When speaking with the owner asking why it was called BBQ HUT when over 97% offered is NOT or DOESNT have anything to do with a bbq place as this is a diner instead he stated that he does offer BBQ so it’s considered BBQ HUT. I asked why doesn’t he have other items he says it doesn’t sell. He stated that his bbq is what keeps customers coming. Now mind you the only customers there was my man and I and one other table! I pointed out all the empty tables stating “yes I can see all your tables are full for showing how successful your BBQ was”. He then stated “when you have your own restaurant then I will come to yours and see how yours is doing”.So, Sir, let me give you my experience as a Certified Culinary Executive Chef of over 20 years. I am also a previous owner (in the 80’s) of a Hot Sauce & BBQ sauce business where I had over 27 different BBQ sauces as my specialty. (Where I received the nickname “Saucy”) I have also worked in 3 high class restaurants, owned my own restaurant for 10 years, then sold that so I could work for the DOD (Department of Defense) then went to Afghanistan as Project General Manager of Food Services whereas I overseen 4K employees, ran 4 DFAC’s (to which I was awarded 19 military coins and certifications of achievements for making sure food was fresh and great.) Also my team of 8 and myself flew either by helo or convoyed to the outside camps to help set up, supply and made sure their portable DFAC’s running proficiently. After spending 3 years over in the war torn country I came home. I wanted to take it easy and worked for a Towboat company as a Towboat Chef to which I finally retired last October. I also have YouTube Channel, TIKTOK, and Instagram of videos with my recipes. So when you say you have experience on how to run a restaurant and I should learn how next time ASK if they do indeed have the experience and knowledge that way over and supersede yours you may want to take their advise to help you achieve and be successful. In conclusion of my review THIS IS NOT A BBQ PLACE but only a Diner that has some bbq items on it. And not very good BBQ at that! My conclusion will also state and recommend to future customers looking for a BBQ Place this IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO TO! As for a country diner then go for it. But can’t guarantee how the rest of the food is but after what my man received it is to be questionable.

Usually, a place the locals seem to like is a good place to go. This is an exception. There was one server only working, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing, except for the fact that she was more interested in her phone than waiting on customers. The prices didn't seem bad until you got the food, and then you find out some things are a bit overpriced. The BBQ salad was pitiful. A handful of lettuce, a very few small pieces of tomato, an even less amount of cheese, like maybe a tablespoon of cheese, and a miserably small amount of BBQ pork. The pork was very cold and wasn't even really shredded. It was just a few small chunks of pork about 4 inches long, too long to really eat in a bite. I ended up tearing it into shorter, more bite-sized pieces. But the puny amount of pork overall left me eating basically a poor excuse for a side salad. And this was a $10 salad! Supposedly a main course. My wife's BBQ plate was portioned a little better, but the pork was again poor quality. It was barely warm, dry, and not very flavorful.

Waste of money. Way way overrated. Ordered rib plate w/ slaw and beans. Watched the worker microwave my ribs for 3-4 minutes. So they were obviously COLD to begin with. Worker was not even shy about microwaving the ribs for 3-4 minutes. The microwave is right by the drive thru window. The ribs were at least partially boiled as part of their process. My ribs were chewy probably partially because of the microwaving them. They leave the membrane on the ribs which was like inedible plastic paper. The coleslaw was not fresh and dry. It looked old even. Took three bites and threw the rest away. Beans were fair.

My new favorite breakfast spot in Dyersburg. Great omelettes, friendly service and priced way below its value. Come for the great food. Stay for the friendly service.

BBQ was horrendous and undercooked. Even had a chemical taste to it.
