Best BBQ in East Tn by far. I was lucky enough to have Big Dan's cater my wedding and everyone was blown away by how good it was. The pulled pork doesn't even need sauce, however the sauce is incredible so I recommend trying it. The Mac n Cheese is actually liquid gold and the Potato chips they make are the best I've ever had. If you are looking for good BBQ look no further!

Dan's is great! Good to chat with. Brisket & Burnt Ends when you catch em fresh are way better than any of the other meats in my opinion.Get them collards & fried okra as the best sides!
Food was subpar but the service was atrocious. The person who took my order was rude and unhelpful. I didn't even receive a receipt and then was asked for my ticket number. I won't be suggesting this to anyone any time soon. I was having a positive day until I came here. Maybe hire people who actually want to work.

We are visiting from out of town with our 2 dogs and happened upon this place by accident. Boy are we glad we did! We sat at one of the outside tables. The staff was very accommodating and even brought our dogs some water while we waited for our food. The food was amazing! It was the best meal we had on our entire trip. My husband got the pulled pork sandwich which was smoky and tender and could stand alone with no sauce. I got the sliced brisket sandwich and mac and cheese. My brisket sandwich was so tender I hardly had to chew. The mac and cheese was creamy and delicious. We met the owner who is also a dog owner. He went out of his way to make sure everything was great with our experience. If we ever pass thru town again. This will definitely be on the itinerary.

First visit today and it is now on our list of places we'll go back to. The burnt ends were fantastic, no sauce needed, and the pulled pork and smoke chicken were awesome too. I'm not a big fan of baked beans but theirs were very good as were the collard greens (just a little too salty for my taste but good nonetheless). Young lady behind the counter was friendly as could be even though she was working on her birthday (happy birthday again!).
