I really hate giving this review because I have always been a JM fan. Always singing their praises & driving to JC MANY times to get subs!! So I was overjoyed when they came to Elizabethton!! Since they have opened I have eaten here once & sometimes twice a week. Always getting at least 3 giant subs!! Our favorite being the number 9.. RoastBeef, Turkey and Bacon with Swiss!! My issues is the portions. Their subs aren't cheap & that's fine when you actually get what should be on them. It's less & less each time I go..I'm not even a huge meat eater but all I taste lately is bread. I'm not sure if it's all JM stores that have cut back or just this location. I spend almost $60 or more each time I come in!! For 3 of us!! We just went to a set down restaurant with salads , main dish, 2 sides and bread EACH for 4 people & it was $69!!! And we brought food home!! Again I wouldn't care but the cheese is paper thin, meat is paper thin and now doesn't even cover the bread!! The end pieces have nothing on them!! I'm not the only one saying things cause I've had conversation in line about how they seem to not being putting portions on to be worth $20 subs!! Even the veggies they are being stingy on. I can tell the employees have been told this. You take a giant sub and watch them put 3 little onion rings on a regular sub is ridiculous!! Unless this gets fixed I will have to stop going to this location.. it's just way too much for what you pay. We went to Subway with coupons they send out and got 3 subs for $17.99 (cheaper then one JM) and they had so much stuff on them we couldn't eat it without stuff falling off.. The meat portions are great but for what you pay I can deal with it. The bacon went from nice strips to half strip crumbs. I know prices are higher but they seem to be raised accordingly so they should be making the customer eat just bread. Maybe it's time to start driving to Big Daddy's Subs!!

My big dawgs are always moving so quick and efficient like always. Never seen a store so clean before. Keep it up ?

We ordered the ham/provolone sub. It had no taste , the ham had a lot of gristle in it. Thet have one person taking the order and one making the subs. Then they have a person to bag the sub and one to cash you out. It was pretty busy. But, I don't think I'll be going back. I'll stick to my regular sub place.
