They were not that busy, 5 tables being used, approx. 10 customers and only 1, 2 or 3 customers at those tables. My order was promptly taken and there was not a long wait for my food. 2 servers were working, that I saw.Other tables were being served bread. I asked if bread came with my meal. My server said, "Yes, it does. In the evening, we serve bread. During the day you have to ask for it."I asked, "May I have bread then."She brought me bread. She disappeared for awhile.No refill was offered on my tea at all, so I had to ask for a refill.The mashed potatoes are not very good. I asked my server if they were "real or instant." They are instant.They tasted odd to me.* On the plus side:The sweet tea is great.The fried chicken tenders were delicious.The Ranch Dressing is fabulous.Kid-friendliness: Very family & children friendly and accommodating

First visit to Michael's and was very disappointed. I ordered the berry salad with chicken and baked potato. The potato was barely hot enough to melt the margarine and the salad had no strawberry, and frozen blueberries which were flavorless and tough. If you're lacking an ingredient let the customer know in advance , I would have definitely changed my order. There's a grocer right across the street, go buy some strawberries. I was very disappointed in my experience, not sure if I'll go back. The server was okay although she didn't bring bread out until after we were partially done with the meal and didn't notify me of the missing ingredient until I was served. My companion was pleased with his meal so at least one of us left satusfied.

I brought my husband here for his valentines lunch. He had the Pot Roast ,EXCELLENT. and I had the Chicken Stir Fry. EXCELLENT. Our waitress was good as our food. Thank You for great service. We'll be back to the Etowah location.

The service was horrible. The server acted as though she would have rather been anywhere but there. Kept having to ask the same thing over and over because she was distracted by her friends or phone and then the food (2 burgers and fries and 1 small steak) took over an hour and 20 minutes to make it to the table. No explanation just everyone in the restaurant talking to each other about what was taking so long. By far the worst experience I've had in a Michaels

Me and my son, come here often. The waitresses are super.020 Now its mostly me by myself. The girls are still great, and they take good care of their customers.Update: 6/2021 I still go here alot, but recently the management has changed and Troy is back. Things are looking even better for this restaurant as Covid-19...fades away ( we hope)Update: 6/2022 I come sometime, but trying to get away from waffle house at the same time. Covid centeredness is all but left, and none of the servers wear mask to remind you of Covid, and the seating is not limited as it was this time last year and back in ' 20. Great programs to get discounts as well.Update: 11/2023Under management by an old face. Ashley, Becky, Jennifer, David, plus a couple others are great servers who go out of their way to make sure people come back. A few of the others chat more with each other about silly stuff or play on their phones behind the counter than they do with the customers. Don't let Robert catch you.

For the price and for the wait my food should have been way better... I ordered spaghetti with chicken... my noodles was already cut up and my chicken was burnt and everything was cold... my husband got a burger that was just as thin as a McDonald's cheeseburger and dry... I'm very disappointed... the server was polite that was the only thing good with my order
