The food was awesome! The chicken and waffles are delicious, but my personal favorite is the Tennessee 2 Step Sandwich. Perfectly fried chicken, fried onions, sliced jalapeños, ranch, and pimento cheese, all this makes for the perfect bite. Also ask for some blue cheese on the side, you won’t regret it.Parking: Plenty of parking all around the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu, and an awesome outdoor hangout/play area. The outdoor area has a putting green and several different outdoor games for the whole family to enjoy.”

“Our food was excellent. Our server took very good care of us and our came out promptly. Our green beans and cajun sauce were a little salty but the scallops and cajun burger were delicious. The view of the river only added to our good experience.”

“I had the curry goat and a beef patty. Both were amazing. I was up in Kingsport for work and so happy to find this gem. Everyone was so nice, the restaurant is in an older building but was very clean, the service was quick, and the food was outstanding. 10/10 recommend and I'll definitely come back.”

The gravy biscuit was really delicious and those hash browns are perfectly seasoned.The food is amazing and just like mama used to make. In addition the staff is super welcoming and friendly and very good with my 3 year old daughter. “Absolutely LOVE this deli! Chuck and Randy are wonderful people! The food here is absolutely delicious and they have the BEST coffee I have ever drank, they have so many flavor options as well. The food is all freshly made, and the deserts are to die for!! Me and my husband stopped in for a lunch date and I’ll definitely be stopping more often. I have found my “daily diner” . I got the Ruben, it was the BEST hands down from any other I have ever tried. My husband got the club, and it was a HUGE sandwich, we also got a hot fudge cake for dessert! If you’re a coffee drinker like I am you will be impressed with Chucks skills! His coffee is better than Starbucks (cheaper too) I got the Bee’s Knees and the Peach Cordial 100% recommend if your in downtown looking for a place to grab a quick bite for lunch. And don’t forget to stop at the Cafe if you’re more of a breakfast person and say Hi to Randy!”

“10/10! Came here for me and my twin’s birthday lunch, and it did not disappoint! I’ve always heard such good things about this place, and given that it was a cooler rainy day, I knew I needed to come and try the grilled cheese and tomato soup specifically! Pricing isn’t bad, and the menu has a wide variety of selections to choose from. Once I saw the menu, I also wanted the quiche! Thankfully, they have pick 3 and pick 4 options, which allowed me to get all three things! The others in my family ended up doing the same thing, with different food selections and none had any complaints at all! I ate everything on my plate, and it was delicious! The entire meal was perfect for the day and it held all of us over for a while! The waitstaff was extremely sweet and wished my sister and I a happy birthday. Our food came out in a timely manner and we didn’t wait too long for anything at all! Located right in downtown Kingsport, Crumb is next door, as well as some other boutique shops, which make for a great little day downtown when it’s warmer! Before I placed my order, I called to ask about gluten free and was greeted and told she just got done quizzing the kitchen staff about gluten free items. When we ordered, I called and reminded them my order is to be gluten free. And did they SUCCEED. I even received a HAND WRITTEN gluten free menu. Ive ate at many pals drive throughs and its all been great sudden service with the best fast food and the original pals walking in was just remarkable. I have to mention the staff was very professional and very hard workers with an employee outside sweeping the area and taking care of things outside as well as carrying out business professionally on the inside.”
