Summary of Problems: -The supposed "manager" has an attitude problem (I asked for the store managers name, I can't give it to you) and displayed complete lack of leadership -Food quality is inferior, when given my food for the second time, manager dropped the bag on the counter while walking away stated," you can check it if you want." After which, she flat refused to talk to me or even provide her name. -Employees were not dressed in Krystal's uniforms or attire commensurate with that of a professional in the food industry. -Employees were running hands through pockets of hoodies and then touching food. I saw only one employee utilizing gloves. -Complaint has formally been filed (awaiting response) -Refund is demanded What led to my observation and interactions: My family and I stopped in on the way home. Went through the drive through, ordered 2- of the double Krystal combos, 1- Bacon Krystal combo, 1-Krystal chick combo, and 2-BBQ bacon chicks. We were one of two cars in the drive through, the wait was about 15 minutes. We pulled around to the parking lot to eat and realized we were missing the two bbq bacon chicks. Went inside with the receipt and immediately caught an attitude from the "supposed" manager. Finally sandwiches were delivered, I headed back out to the parking lot. The first sandwich had both mayo and bbq sauce, while the second only had mayo. ( that's a real winner there). I went back in the store. A second employee, who was working the line, approached. I asked what were the ingredients to the bbq bacon sandwich. He told me bacon, bbq, and a pickle. I asked why then I had mayo on my sandwiches and one without any bbq. At first he didn't respond and simply stared at me, I asked again, and he proceeded to tell me that he put bbq on them and there wasn't any mayo. To put it simply, being called liar to my face is rather insulting, I told him to get his manager. A third employee approached, seemed okay, took the bag to the back after telling me they were working on the replacements. While in the back, I heard the wonderful chorus of profanities and complaints from employee two about the bad customer out front. At this point, I wouldn't trust any food coming from attitudes like that. It was at this point the complete lack of leadership was demonstrated, when the supposed manager proceeded to drop the bag on the counter and tell me "you can check it if you want" and she walked away. I then asked if she was the manager and what her name was, she refused. Then I asked for the store manager's name, again she refused citing this as corporate policy for both, stating she's not required to provide that information. Quite frankly, this is the absolute worst food experience I have had. Extremely disappointed that a childhood staple and comfort food would be this disappointing. As to the rest of the food, it was disposed of. After seeing the inside of the store and the attitudes of the employees, I would not allow my young children and family members to eat any of it. We went elsewhere. I will update this post after conversation with the appropriate authority. As for now, I do not recommend this location out of concerns for safety. I don't suggest trying to call, it is an automated line telling you to post concerns to the website or place an online order before hanging up on you. As of this writing, my post to the website is awaiting a response. **As of this writing, they have not responded to the complaint filed with Krystal’s.com (10 December) (which the automated message claimed would be within 72hrs) nor have they have responded on yelp.
