Wonderful little gem in downtown Fayetteville. Nice people, prompt service, delicious lunch spot. I tried the ruben and the buffalo chicken wrap, both were worth coming back for.

It's sad when I read John S, Tampa FL review of The Redbird Restaurant in Fayetteville, TN and Raphael's, both great places to eat. I routinely eat at The Redbird Restaurant and always found their food appetizing and appreciate their cleanliness rating -- 100. It's folks like John S. who give a restaurant a black eye for no apparent reason other than being despicable. I suggest John takes his ass back to Tampa and stay out of Fayetteville. We don't need the likes of his kind in our community.

I have eaten at The Redbird several times and I can't say enough good things about the food and the service. I had the taco salad, cheeseburger (best in town) along with the chicken and dressing. Great bunch of people working here. I would definitely go again and again and tell others to do the same.

Friendly staff. Love little diners like this, real food always beats fast food when traveling.Only complaint, and it is minor, the Rueben sandwich that my mother and wife ordered. They both said it had very little sauerkraut and the bread was not toasted (too soft). The club sandwich was very good.

Had lunch there while in town shopping. Our second visit & just as pleasant as the first. Definitely like the old “soda fountain” experience from our youth. Good food & quaint atmosphere. We’ll be back.

I had asked around town for a good lunch spot in town, nobody had an answer for me... 3 people told me to go to Raphael's, a sad excuse for a pizza joint so I just made my rounds and figured I'd fall in someplace on the Square. The Redbird is fairly new, if you want to check them out you'd better get here quick because I predict a short lifespan for this dive. The sign out front advertised chicken and dressing lunch plates, hard to screw that up, but... My Arnold Palmer was delivered with 1/2 lemonade and half unsweetened tea, it was undrinkable. Nothing fancy here, plastic plates and utensils to go with bad service and I'm already half way out the door. Then my lunch arrived, no gravy on the chicken and dressing tells me the cook has no idea what the hell she's doing. The dressing was dry as the Mojave desert, likewise for the chicken chunks. No butter for the cornbread and it took about 10 minutes to flag down my server to ask about the missing gravy.....she said "OH, you want gravy?" I waited around to see what would happen next and she fetched one of those little 1oz. cups of what looked to be giblet gravy and that was enough to cover one forkful of the dressing which now tasted like wet sand. That was quite enough for one day so I paid the $14 tab and left complaining to new arrivals who announced as they were there for the chicken and dressing "special." I did my best to dissuade them but who knows. The sides were pitiful, all they offered were mashed potatoes, green beans, and on other veggie. So on the bright side to go along with the bad food you won't have to weigh too many choices for your side which will save time between you and the door. RIP Redbird, we hardly knew ye.
