The food is usually very good, but they missed it this time with their meatloaf. It was not a southern recipe. A pattie with big chunks of vegetables poured over it. Not good!!! Also, their dining area is small, and we set outside in 80-degree temperatures. Please put out some umbrellas.

Chicken breast quarter undercooked—I guess that’s compared to fall off the bone vs pink meat as mine was. Cornbread was dry from browning too much in the oven. Vegetables were good.

A bit cramped for space but you can eat outside. The food is superb! Adding Hattie B's chicken in the mix makes this a must stop for me everytime I'm in the area.
Bishops is amazing! Not only was their food amazing but I left my handbag at the restaurant and they kept it for me. I was blown away by their honesty and that a couple days after I went back and got my handbag back. Definitely stop by - their chicken tenders are delicious and their sides are great too. We will be back for sure!!!
