Amazing food. We come here regularly for chai and samosas. Loved the food so much that we ended up catering food from here for a special event. I highly recommend this

Amazing for its Indian snack food and chai, hit or miss for actual entrees, but an overall winner due to its convenience inside the best Indian grocery store! Attached to the Cool Springs Indian grocery store India Bazaar, Chai Samosa offers a really wide menu ranging from Indian brunch items (dosa, vada, idli, sambar), traditional Indian entrees (butter chicken and the like), Indian thali's (entree option where you get many small curries and items), Indo/Chinese items (like haaaka noodles), Indian snack food (pakoras and samosas galore), and a wide range of desserts. I have tried most of the categories on their menu (except dessert) and my consistent favorites here are the mostly fried snack items: spinach and onion pakora, corn samosa, pav bhaji, even mirchi pakoda when I'm in the mood for something very spicy. All are some of the best of their kind in the area. My dad really loves their brunch items (particularly the idli sambar) because it's a very reasonable price point, but personally don't think their execution is really on par with what I expect of a perfect, undeniably soft, steamed idli. We have gotten entrees once or twice but again, nothing really to write home about here. They have some good specials on entrees later in the evening, but I wouldn't go out of my way for these entrees compared to other restaurants in the area. That said, they absolutely win on convenience. I come to this grocery store at least twice a month to get vegetables, Indian items, and fresh chapati and having a great eatery attached to grab a bite and an excellent (highly caffeinated) chai after a morning grocery shopping is always a win in my book! Really pleased overall with this addition to the Cool Springs Indian food scene!

The quality of chats are below average. This is a good place for Chai, samosa, and biryani. I would recommend casual dining or quick indian bites.

We ordered the chicken masala being the average Americans that we are. The man behind the counter was very nice and also let us try some of the sweets. They were amazingly good, so we got some of those too. Really enjoyed this place and will come back and try other new things.

Please look at the menu, price before you going to make a order, this folks over charge you if you don’t see the price, idli was $5.99 they charge $7.49 plus tax, so cheap way to make money from

On multiple occasions, got less items than ordered for pick up. Rude attitude to follow that.

One of the very first place in Franklin which has flavors of Indian street food. When it comes to Indian food it always amazes me. We tried couple of dishes earlier like chicken chilli, dosa, biryani and noodles, the taste is always amazing. We tried Veg Hakka noodles today and it’s was great taste. Veggies and noodles were properly cooked and spices were exactly how we needed. Looking forward to try more dishes here. The service is little slow and needs improvements. Also the dine in place is little smaller and will get crowded during busy hours.Vegetarian options: Large vegetarian options like ..dosa, veg noodles, pakora, many different paneer versionsParking: Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Not any kid friendly toys section like Chick-fil-AWheelchair accessibility: Place has access to wheelchair.

The tea was good. They have it in a container so you can't order to customize. There's not much ginger or spice in the tea.The food however was not good. The batter on mirchi bhaji was not leavened properly.

I visited this restaurant where the Telugu-speaking counter staff guy was quite rude to customers; moreover, the chai had a powdered smell. However, the snacks we ordered were quite tasty.

Great spot! Delish aloo tikki sliders. But the fact they don't give chutney with the samosas is sad!
