It's been 10 years since I lived in Franklin. We were here tonight and the food was outstanding. Service was great. Still a great place for great food and reasonable cost. Love this place.

Decent restaurant located in Franklin tn. I arrived at about 630. It was very busy and there seemed to be a wait. I was told there was a 15min wait to be seated. As a single diner I should've been offered the bar to avoid wait. So I suggested it myself and they replied "go ahead".My initial impression of this place was that it was going to be a prime steakhouse. (I just went in blind). It turns out to be something like a Applebee's kinda vibe.My food was seasoned well. Food quality was moderate. Bartender was very sweet and attentive even though she had alot going on. I would return here, prices were standard and what you would expect. Photos below.

Home run for a family meal! Been going there for 20+ years. Great service great people and the food is always consistently good. Best salads in town. I could go on but try it yourself and it will become a go to meal weather dinning in or placing a take home meal for yourself or the family.

I think it's been nearly 30 years since my first visit to Chop House, and it has remained consistent the entire time. That's so unique in the restaurant business; and in Franklin I can't think of anything else that's lasted 3 decades. They may disagree, but I consider this modern diner food. Good staples and a wide enough variety to satisfy just about anyone in a large group. Rock steady, everyday food that is the same every time. Hard to find.

Shame cannot have a quiet conversation about friends without the waiter going ballistic thinking we were talking about him.. He should have been doing his job instead of hanging so. close. Oh well plenty other restaurants that are professional.
