In town visiting family, stopped here after a recommendation. Sake on the menu but can’t serve it due to liquor license issue, half the beer is no longer available but still on the menu. Sushi pieces are oversized making them awkward to eat. Tempura batter is way too thick. Woke up in the middle of the night with stomach issues. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was fun but the food was meh.

The best place for sushi and Thai food in Franklin. Sakura has been around for well over twenty years and they are Franklin's best kept secret. If you're in downtown Franklin or near the area, you owe it to yourself to check them out. Great service and excellent sushi choices. Their Pad Thai is one of the best I've ever had. I've been bringing friends and dates here for decades and it's my favorite place in the area.

I have been going to Sakura for the better part of 10 years since I moved to Franklin. I have never written a review and that baffles me. I have been to Japan twice in my life and visited 2 regions both times. Kanto, Chubu, Kinki and Chugoku. Now I might be biased but I would say that Jun's caliber when it comes to preparing sushi is on par with some of the masters over there.Jan's kitchen work and service are top notch and Sam is probably one of the best servers/managers I have had the opportunity to see grow. The atmosphere is welcoming, though I do believe some updates might be helpful.I am always grateful when I have a chance to stop in and have some food or grab some to go. Great place and I believe somewhat underrated.

The food is good. The service is not good. They gave us zero sauce with our $150 sushi order. Then when i asked for 1 cup of spicy mayo, I was told its $1 extra for any sauce. A little annoying.

Food was great and their lunch specials. The man that waited on us was very impatient and sarcastic responding to our questions about menu. Rude.

I wanted to like this place but just didn't. The sushi rice was actually sweet which I did not like. They also poured mayo over almost everything and didn't say so I. The menu. The miso soup was also not great.

I love the food at this restaurant. Everyone is correct in that they have the best sushi in town. Actually, I have not had a bad dish of anything here. The one thing I wish is that customers were not forced to listen to 70's and 80's rock music that is sometimes turned up too loud. That is the only reason I could not give all 5-stars. Otherwise, two thumbs up!

Best sushi I have ever had. The angel roll is seriously too good for its own hah. The staff is good and the kirin brand beer is on point. Love the food they offer and love the assortment of sushi as well. I really recommend this place to anyone looking for something new and good in the sushi world!Vegetarian options: YesKid-friendliness: YesParking: YesWheelchair accessibility: YesDietary restrictions: Yes

Great service and food, despite a long wait. It’s worth it, the sushi is really good!

The online ordering system for Thai food items lacks "spice level" option (1 to 5), which I think is a big part of Thai food experience. However, I put "Medium Spicy" in the comments section, hoping that they will see the comments. However when I received my food, it had no spice at all, very bland. It is almost like the chef forgot to put any spice in the food. Too bad they also did not offer/provide any side of spicy sauces.
