Appetizers were good, but entrees were meh. Overly fatty and gristly cuts of beef and dry bland fish. Front of house staff was attentive and timed things well.

Was really impressed with this place from start to finish. Made reservations, got right in, and had two tall, nicely designed glasses of cool water within about 30 seconds of sitting down. Didn't even have to ask for it. We ordered the avocado deviled eggs with candied bacon, which was delicious and unique. Even the avocado itself was made with great attention to detail in that it was more of a whipped, light cream than heavy chunks, and must have been applied with a cake icing dispenser to give it that perfect star shaped touch on top. Then came out subbed side salads, which had a great variety and tasted refreshingly cool and crisp. Then came our blackened mahi fish tacos, which were probably the best I've ever had. Soft, fresh flour tortillas which I assume must have been handmade hours or minutes earlier, cross grilled mahi filet right in the middle, large, fresh cut strips of avocado, and fresh pico. Came with a generous amount of a really tasty chimichurri sauce. And the whole time we were dining, we noticed any worker that happened to be passing by our table would pick up any empty dishes on their way to the kitchen. Really really impressive. Someone clearly knows how to run a restaurant. Will absolutely be coming back again and again. And I would be remiss of I didn't add a shout out for our superb waiter. Really friendly, polite, attentive, and well versed in the entire menu. 100% skip the "cheesy factory" and head straight to The Rutledge. You won't be disappointed.

I brought my staff to The Rutledge back in December 23’ for our annual Holiday lunch. We were served that day by Samantha. Samantha was so wonderful and professional during the luncheon. The food was amazing too! We will be back so just wanted to say ‘Thank you!’

Had a great experience at the Rutledge. Rachel was so attentive and helpful with recommendations and making sure each course came out perfectly. I was very happy with our meal, dessert and appetizer. Will definitely add this to one of our favorite places.

Very good food, always consistent. Attentive server, though perhaps a little much. The French Dip and the burgers, chicken sandwiches are always good. Try the spinach dip and the prime rib, too. Stoney River has a better baked potato option.

Food is really good, atmosphere is excellent and the service is nothing short of amazing. Brian has always taken care of us and the food has always been very good. Have not had any disappointment since coming here. Steaks and prime rib are really well prepared and if in the mood, get the wonton shrimp. This place has become a go to for me and I will be bringing others with me to enjoy the experience as well. If any the area and looks g for a more posh / upscale place to eat you can't go wrong here. Also they make great cocktails as well!

This was my first time visiting the Rutledge, and it won’t be my last. Pretty much everything was great. The only thing that could have improved was the enthusiasm, or lack thereof from the hostesses- but everything else was so great I’m able to look past the initial greeting. The drinks were delicious and strong. I got the honey lemon margarita to start, and finished the meal with the crème brûlée martini and both were fantastic. For the main entree I got the French dip sandwich with the lobster Mac and cheese as the side- both were unbelievably delicious. The best part of the evening was Destiny our server, she was so attentive and came over to check on us the perfect amount. She was extremely personable and took care of us, gave great suggestions when I couldn’t decide on something and overall made the whole experience very enjoyable. I look forward to coming back!

New to the Franklin area and was excited to check out the local restaurants. Pressed Sushi App was very good, Ahi Tuna was of mediocre quality at best. Prime Rib and side came out room temperature. Lemon Berry cake was very good. This restaurant requires a credit card to make/hold a reservation then charges a 3% "convenience" fee to use it. From that I get the sense the management thinks it's a privilege to dine at their establishment. Based on other restaurants in the area, I disagree.
