“I had wanted to try this restaurant out for a few months and was glad when I finally got the opportunity. I’m all for supporting local businesses and very familiar with other restaurants owned by this brand so decided to give it a try. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. The ambience in its own is amazing, as I’m always looking for restaurants that allow me to eat in comfort and not deal with hearing a lot of noise or a loud band (not sure why some restaurants think that’s a great idea, especially when breaking bread over business deals and such.) My server, Ereka was AMAZING and highly recommend her as your server during your visit. She was attentive and helpful as well as very knowledgeable when I asked about recommendations of not only food but spirits as well. She had the bartender make me a custom drink that was delicious and I appreciated her going above and beyond. If you’re looking for a restaurant that is small enough to be comfortable and private, but serve you properly, I highly recommend you visit them today! And don’t forget to ask for Ereka as your server!“
“If I could rank higher I would!This restaurant is a standout compared to anything experienced so far in Memphis. Service overall was top notch and Evan our server had impeccable attention to detail and timing was near perfect. Seriously one of the best servers experienced in quite awhile. Sunglasses for sunset, blanket for son when it got chilly, and turn up of propane heaters.Each plate was well put together, grilled oysters NOLA style were great, my surf and turf perfectly cook, my wife’s tuna cooked perfectly with a unique and amazing blend of flavors, and my son’s burger nicely done. “By far and away, the best wine list in Memphis (and probably the entire state save for BlackBerry Farm). The owner selects each bottle personally, curating an elite list of high-end pinot noir (new world and burgundy) and Napa Cabernet that goes far beyond the usual, basic Caymus/Prisoner offerings you get at other peer establishments. It is a bit of a splurge but it’s worth it every time.“
“I came to town to visit some family. Was brought to Southern Social as a treat.The staff were terrifically personable and attentive. Our server Isaac, is clearly an ace at his craft, recommending the special and an excellent whiskey flight including the barrel select from a local distiller, which was amazing.Also, best carrot cake I have ever had!“
