Hands down the best Greek in this town! The Feisty Feta dip is without compare. It offers just enough spicy goodness for additional flavor but is not Hot!Always feisty feta is available as an option to amp up your Gyro… I highly recommend this move.

It was OK. Had chicken shawarma pita. Chicken was good. The pita wasn't. The pita was very thin, more like a tortilla and it was tough and chewy not soft. Service was good and fast.

Tried the Mediterranean bowl at Petra Cafe today for the first time. Far exceeded expectations! Probably the best bowl I have tried in Memphis. The house dressing was incredible. Will definitely be back soon! 5/5 stars!

Unimpressed…priced at upscale, but didn’t deliver. Flavorless sauce and chicken. Won’t be back.

What an outstanding lunch spot! If you like gyros, this is the place to eat. The food was delicious and the service was delightful. Best dolmades that i have ever had! The gyros were packed with a ton of juicy beef/lamb strips seasoned to perfection.

First time here and the food was very tasty and good quality. It's a small family restaurant and luckily we were able to get seated on a Saturday night with not much time left before close. We were told some things were not available.

Recently tried to give this place another chance as i love to eat local but the food has gotten worse and staff is high strung and very pushy i wont be giving them another chance

Petra! One of our favorite places - the best gyros and more. Great service and a lovely atmosphere.

Honestly, I don’t like making bad reviews, especially for small businesses because they are usually my favorite places. We were in shock when we got our ticket. It’s insane that it cost so much for two people to eat a light lunch here. We got the bill and it was $40! I tipped $7 to be fair to the server. So we just ate a light lunch for $47, the price of a steak dinner elsewhere. We both had a sandwich, not much meat on either of the sandwiches. We frequented the Collierville location and the sandwiches were stacked thick with lunch meat. We both ordered a sandwich, a small bag of chips and a small drink since everything was sold separately. Chips should be included in the price when you order a sandwich for $12-$14. The service was good, portions were small, food was fine, prices astronomical. I overheard other customers asking each other why there meal was so high… oh everything was an “add on”rather than having chips included, etc. I really do wish you the best in these times of such ridiculous inflation and small business overhead, taxes and other struggles. you may want to rethink your menu, serving sizes and or prices.

It is really good food. However, the staff is always very much in their own world and not really paying attention to the customers in a very attentive way whether you're sitting down to eat or coming in to pick up something to go I think they could have much better customer service.

Our party of two adults recently had dinner on a Friday evening at Petra Cafe. This was our first experience there. We arrived around 6 p.m. and the place was practically deserted. We were promptly seated. Good thing we go there when we did because the restaurant quickly filled. The service was fast and friendly even though they seemed short staffed. The food itself was okay. Nothing amazing, but nothing wrong with it either. Looks like their lunch menu is more extensive than their dinner menu. One appetizer, two sandwiches, one entree and two non-alcoholic drinks came to $64. They don't seem to serve alcohol, but we saw at least one party bring in a bottle of wine. Not sure if there's a corkage fee for that. We'd definitely go back.

Arguably the best gyro in Memphis. Authentic sliced off the rotating spit gyro meat that is hot and delicious.

One of my favorite place for lunch. Excellent gyros, paninis and salads. Always fresh and full of savor. Prompt and good service from the owner and other ladies helping.
