Service and atmosphere is great. It’s a clean and comfortable environment with comfortable chairs but a dingy carpet.Food is good for the area but otherwise unremarkable. The meats lack the depth of flavor you’ll find with other prep methods. The salsa is tasty but has zero heat which is disappointing. The guacamole is nicely done.Essentially, it tastes good the way watermelon flavored candy tastes good, yet tastes little like actual watermelon.

Had dinner with an old coworker and was pleasantly surprised! Great costumer service and the food was pretty decent too. She had the Fish Tacos, I had Chicken Enchiladas, and we both shared Chips, Queso, & Pico De Gallo. Drinks were just "ok" but the staff was much younger than we were and I used to be in the bar industry back in California many moons ago so my standards are on a different level. They did well with what they knew. Prices are decent. If in the area, I'd go again. I did almost get lost though. The signage wasn't lit and it was getting dark so it was a little difficult finding the restaurant. PLUS, there's another Swanky's location on the same road (Poplar Ave) in the Memphis area so if you're not careful, you might end up on the wrong side of town about 15 minutes away! All in all ... we both had no regrets.

Whoever cooks at night should be FIRED! I got my DoorDash order and they burned my nachos, didn’t have the sour cream that I paid extra for! If I spend my money I expect my food to be done correctly not just thrown together!

We used the catering service for our lunch meeting and everything was perfect as we ordered it - also on time which was of the most importance!!! Marcy is the one who took the order and she’s the one we will contact from here on!!! That’s how we know it’ll be done right!!

Was not the best experience. People were really nice. Food was a tad below descent. Salsa was super watery and had a odd taste to my liking . Drinks were ok. Food was 5out of 10. I order a chimichanga, and my date had a sampler. There wasn’t much to sample. My tab was $61 before the tip. I WOULD NOT come again. But I appreciate the experience. Being from the city of Memphis makes you appreciate the local restaurants that puts love in there food .

What an improvement! The last few times the service and staff have been unfriendly and unprepared. This time everyone was absolutely amazing. We were greeted when we entered and the chef and check out person were very engaging and friendly. Also the food was fresh and excellent. Love this place!!!!
