I knew it was a bad sign when the restaurant was completely empty at 6 pm. The food was ok. I had one of the rolls (Jamaican rift?) and the other person had the teriyaki chicken. The service was fine too. I even gave the nice waitress an extra 10 dollars in tip since I am sure she would have made almost nothing that night. The 1 star is because the roll sent me to the bathroom ALL NIGHT long and into the morning of the next day! Like, I had to keep running to the toilet. Literally running! This was the only thing I ate for the day, so this must have caused it. Horrible.

Food was not authentic, but not horrible…was not great either (overly salty). Staff was friendly, but extremely slow even though they weren’t very busy. Great atmosphere. Probably won’t go back again, but won’t tell others not to try it. Maybe you’ll like it more than me.

Super disappointed. We have eaten here before, today we went in sweats andHoodies and we saw open party tables and they said they could not accommodate us that they were too busy. We said we wouldWait and we were still denied. I personally will never be back here. Employees were not friendly and short with us.

The food it was delicious, beautiful place but the waitress it was a Japanese or Korean girl that was training to a guy but she has been the worst waitress that I have haven in the world…. She didn't help with the menu and she was VERY hateful!

Zen is an upscale version of Osaka, owned by the same people. Osaka’s sushi is available at Zen, along with their own unique sushi creations. They have more rare types of sushi than usual, like Sea Urchin and Mackerel. It was very tasty, excellent service and the atmosphere is very high-end. I highly recommend it!
Food was good, but the building is freezing cold. Our server was either new or didn't know what she was doing. Asked for a sashimi combo, and she comes to the table a few minutes later and asks what roll I want. I'm very confused and ask her to double check that I ordered the sashimi combo. She checks her notepad and says yes.She rang me in for the sushi combo. Had to send it back and the kitchen looked at me like I'm the problem.Darn shame, as the food isn't worth the service and the freezing room. Had to eat way after my wife did.

Finally, he was able to try Zen Fine Japanese Cuisine. I absolutely love the atmosphere. Customer service was great. The food was fresh, hot and very tasteful and the drinks were great. I would highly recommend this as a location that you might want to visit when you want something different to eat and not the typical food. You can thank me later!

I wish I had positive things to say about the restaurant. The server was really nice - young but nice. The manager left a lot to be desired. Went to eat with someone with severe food allergies. Took a long time to order to make sure that the food ordered was ok for them to eat. There are so many menus with the same titled rolls but each one has different ingredients. Ordered a hurricane roll for them as it only had spicy crawfish, cream cheese, and spicy mayo - even pointed it out to the server on the menu. About 15 minutes after eating the roll, the person knew something wasn't right. We dig through the three pieces that were left and noticed there was crab stick in the roll. That was not noted anywhere on the menu. When it was brought up to the server he was instantly apologetic and we looked at the menus. He pointed out that a collaboration menu has the same named roll with crab stick in it and that was what they made instead of the one we ordered. The manager was called over and just happened to also be the guy that makes the rolls. He didn't care that the person had food allergies and tried to justify having multiple menus with multiple rolls with the same names and different ingredients. He didn't care that someone was very sick and might have to go to the hospital because what they ordered was not what was made. He was more interested in giving excuses and then decided to just blame the server instead of apologize and actually care that they could have killed someone. When it comes to the food, it is very mediocre, service is mediocre, but ambiance is good. Will never recommend any place tho that doesn't care about their customers and allergies.
