The staff are super friendly and welcoming. Perfect small town dining. We got a Reuban sandwich and IT WAS AWESOME! The potato salad was pretty darn good to. I definitely recommend you stop in and give it a try!

Forever my favorite lunch place. Grew up on the Tannery, and still continue to visit anytime I am in town and get a chance to!

Understand that maybe we visited at the wrong time. The building is small and tables are very close together Parking is odd. If thats the "atmosphere" you like then my rating doesn't apply. We ordered two "Specials" which were listed as a half of a sub... They were pretty small.(not much bigger than a slider). Those in conjunction with the salad actually made me laugh a little after what I had heard about the place. I also had soup... Which was lukewarm. The salad dressing was very good if you like blue cheese. It may actually get me back.We waited over 40 minutes after the order for food. The staff was very busy moving around but not much food was coming out. We heard another person state they would have to change theirs to go. It was very busy and crowded and just not the "Atmosphere" we enjoy. The food didn't make up for it.The experience was one we are glad we completed but we haven't gone out to eat as much lately and we were a bit disappointed at this experience as the 1st one in a bit.God has blessed us with living in one of the richest countries in the world and I am thankful for the food we had , however, as a value goes, this one wasn't there. Please understand that one moment in time does not make or break a place in my mind. They may get another visit but it will be accompanied by prior knowledge. Since there are many good reviews, the possibility exists that this was an isolated case or my views of things are a bit off.Peace

Nice little place can get rather busy but the food is good. Parking is a bit of a pain you have to park behind the building and walk.

Cute building, but the employees not too friendly, they all acted like they could care less if you were there or not. They didnt have regular coffee(what restaurant doesnt have coffee??) only instant from an envelope, and it wasnt hot and I had to go up and get it after waiting 30 min. Waited 1 hour for sandwiches that were small and mediocre. VERY disappointed. Chips were stale. I always give a place a 2nd chance though, so I will try again.

Great Sandwhichs and service. Wasn't sure if they still were there at present location , they were. Been 27 years since I was there. Now since I am close by I will visit more often. I got the Ruben on Rye, my spouse got the turkey wrap.

The building is on the historic registry. The staff was friendly and helpful. I got the super special which was 1/2 a turkey club, small soup, small salad (lettuce, carrots, and dressing), and a small drink for $9.50. The sandwich and soup were very good. They offer free drink refills.
