The food was pretty terrible. We got the general Tso's and the sesame chicken. Both were awful, both in flavor and texture after a short, 8 minute drive home. The egg drop soup was fine, the crab Rangoon was fine, but the rest was mediocre. Not going back.

While the flavor was decent during dinner, you will regret it later. They use very low-quality ingredients, and fry things in the lowest-quality oil available. Probably cheap vegetable oil or canola. I felt like I had a hangover the next morning. My whole body was inflamed. It gave my wife a headache. No wonder our country has so many health issues.

China Cottage came to us recommended by our Kennesaw Farms community. We have had so many disappointments that we were wary of giving any one else a try. We were craving Chinese food and decided to give China Cottage a try...FANTASTIC and SO Good! It was so refreshing to have wonderful chicken fried rice and pork fried rice made with REAL meat and not some diced cube of supposed meat. The pepper steak was amazing, the hospitality was warm and welcoming. Thank you neighbors for the recommendation and thank you China Cottage for not disappointing and you all have now become our place to go when we are craving delicious Chinese food!

I finally found a good Chinese restaurant! The food was excellent and so was the service! I had sweet and sour chicken and my friend had General Chow chicken. Both were excellent! Very clean and the service is great! We will definitely be going back!!

Great place to eat. Hidden gem in Hendersonville. Always friendly service. Good food. Great prices. Highly recommend. Hot and fresh as it is made when ordered. No buffet.Updated: went back and food was scorched. Afer 2 people sniffed my food they told me nothing wrong with it. It clearly tasted awful and you could smell it across the table. The chef tefused to achnowledge anything burned about it. They were argumentative and did not offer to make it right. Poor customer service. Eat there quite abit. However, will be rethinking this after the this experience.
