Ice cream is delicious and you get big chucks of goodness. Daughter got upset and crying because she wanted a waffle bowl instead of a cone. I believe her name was Sophie or Sophia (I'm terrible with names), and a few others made sure she left with a smile on her face and help her exchange it into a bowl with sprinkles on top. They went above and beyond to make the experience great for her. Sweet people and sweeter ice cream. 100% recommend giving it a try.

I went in and Laura made me never want to come in again. Ive come in multiple times and have had great service, but as soon as I walked in Laura was rushing me and sighing and was being very rude. I couldn't believe someone would act this way towards a customer. Do not recommend this place. can't believe she even got hired. I'll be going to Brusters now

I got the birthday cake flavor and my boyfriend got the s’mores milkshake. WOW! It was amazing. We are definitely coming back. I would recommend getting some seating, maybe also some little tables for outside as well! But the personality of the workers, the ice cream, and the clean atmosphere was top notch!

It was our first visit. Really good ice cream and good service at what i thought was a reasonable price for the amount of ice cream. It was raining that night, so we were looking for a place to sit down while we ate, but there was no seating inside. It was really good and we'll be back!

Ok. Truth. I grew up five walking minutes from the original Handel's in Youngstown, Ohio. My mom visited when they opened in 1945 and throughout the 70s and 80's it was my fovorite local ice cream shop. Only one location as an option. Then, late 80s or early 90s, it was sold and the new owner began the slow expansion of locations, trying to keep the feel of the OG. Selfishly this is a slice of my childhood home and brings back so many memories. That said, the ice cream is better than I remember! We always take a quart of chocolate pecan home because that is the original and best flavor. Then we have variety of scoops on site to share with the family...this time we had black ?, ? foster, ☕ ice cream with chocolate chips, and simple but perfect ?. You know, if you know. If you are new... go treat yourself! The team who served us was great...and welcome to Tennessee Handel's Ice Cream! Now TN truly feels like home!!!
It was our first visit in today and the place was super clean. The line went quickly and the ice cream was good! Great flavor selection. They are not accessibility friendly in the sense there is no place for a differently abled or elderly person to sit down. They also do nothing for birthdays.
