Nice staff, unfortunate food.I was lured in by the promise of charro beans, which aren't as readily available here as back in Texas. Sadly I was in for a pretty significant disappointment. Things got off to a sad start with a very sad batch of salsa and chips with zero salt. Things didn't improve much with the entree. The Pollo Mexicano, was...fine? They covered it in "cheese sauce" and included some tasty jalapeños, but the chicken was a lackluster.The charro beans were...well, an abomination. Instead of a delicious soup, it was fairly bland beans, a few bits of bacon, and pieces of chopped up hotdogs. It was the worst charro beans I've ever encountered.The staff was nice and the restaurant was clean.

I’ve ordered from this place many times and always loved it. Went in today with a friend that I was excited to introduce to the place and we unfortunately had terrible service and the food was really lackluster compared to previous experiences, and on top of that, we both ended up with food poisoning from eating there. I won’t be back :(

Me and my family have been eating here for years and has always been great, until recently our experience was horrible. When we received out chips and salsa, the salsa was watery with chunks of onion and hardly any flavor. There was only one waiter and he said the cooks were new and that they were learning how to make salsa and cook food. When we got our food, it was terrible! The hamburger meat was not seasoned, the tacos were soaked in water and fell apart, my daughters tacos had raw meat, everything else was just very soggy and not pleasant to eat. My daughters drinking glass was obviously busted and don’t know how the waiter did not see that. My drinking glass was dirty. We are so disgusted that we do not want to come back here. Very disappointing!

The old was fantastic, but seems like they're really under staffed now. There was only 1 waiter, and 1 cook last time we went, so we weren't surprised when it took about an hour to get out food. Other than the wait, everything else was great.
We’ve been going here for years now the food is always so so good and the waiters are awesome & super nice. This is definitely our favorite Mexican restaurant!!

If you're looking for stellar Mexican food, Hendersonville is not your town. However, this place and one other seem to be consistently tasty depending on the dish. I call it cruise ship Mexican food where it's so generic it is intended to please the general public and that's what most places are here however, the margaritas are consistently good and their fajitas are very good. The seafood is fresh and delicious, the burritos are decent but bordering cruise ship Mexican style food as well as the enchiladas. Depending on how authentic or spicy you like your Mexican food or what your favorite dish is, this place is a good start for a local owned business, good menu options, and really good guacamole! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because they don't have Mole or Pollo con Crema, they do have some generic flavored menu items, and the service can be slow at times but I have yet to find a restaurant in Hendersonville that doesn't have those same issues.

Delicious! I has the camarones Mexicano- spicy and savory. My husband had the chicken fajitas- he thoroughly enjoyed it. The salsa is spicy and full of flavor. We can't wait to come back and make it a weekly tradition!
