I had been wanting to try this place since they opened so I got delivery from here tonight. The food was still hot when I got it and it was good taco truck type food. They didn't forget my extra carrots and sauce and the prices are closer to what I would expect from a taqueria, hopefully they don't start raising their prices like the other similar type places in Hendersonville.

I love this place. There are 3 taco shops in Hendersonville and Don Carbons is the best. El Grullense takes forever! California tacos is just plain nasty! And then there is DC, they are fast, friendly and the food is amazing. My favorite is their quesadillas and mulitas. I do wish the beans were more chunky though, it's like they put them in a food processor. That's my only complaint.
The No.13 Plate is the Quesabirria Plate, which reminded me of eating from a taco cart in Tijuana, Mexico; it was great. If you are not sure of what Quesabirria is, that's OK, Quesabirria is a Mexican dish comprising birria-style cooked beef folded into a tortilla with melted cheese and served with a side of broth for dipping. The dish has origins in Tijuana, Mexico around 1995. Order this and you will be happy. My mom ate a taco and said it had good flavor and that there was no spice to worry about.
