“Worked at Summit ED for a few years and have always loved ordering from them. Working in the ED there are countless hard days and it is always refreshing to snag a quick coffee from these enthusiastic employees. There are many new employees that started at Hot Shots and they are fantastic people. You guys keep us fueled to save lives. Thank you“
“First Watch is our go to breakfast spot. I’ve never had a meal here I didn’t love. We all got the biscuits and gravy today and it did not disappoint. Next time I’ll order the seasoned potatoes more crispy because that’s what I normally do. Try this place!“
“We found this little spot and it was packed with locals. We waited in line and boy was it worth the quick wait! An iced chai, some amazing coconut cookies and some shortbread cookies were our order. We wanted to try new things to us! The owner(?) gave us amazing service and offered us a Sambusa to try and it was AMAZING. A great unique coffee shop with superb service, great coffee and amazing pastries/ food! Thanks for the service and education into Somalian food. When in Nashville we will return!“
“I've eaten at most all the fancy steakhouses in downtown Nashville paying big $$$ for a steak and this place is just as good, if not better. Their ribeye was seasoned and cooked perfectly. You pay for a 12oz steak but it has to be more than that! This was our first time eating here and it did not disappoint! We live in Gallatin and I can see us making the trip down just to eat here. Service was great, atmosphere was great, food was great! Highly recommend Lyncoya!“
“Flora and Fauna is more than just a coffee shop; it's a gem in the heart of East Nashville. Walking in, you're immediately greeted by a service staff that makes you feel like family. The creativity in their drinks menu is a delightful surprise every visit, offering a perfect blend of classic and innovative choices. And let's talk about the pancakes – they are a must-try! Fluffy, flavorful, and simply irresistible, they're worth indulging in any day of the week. This place is a testament to what makes East Nashville's community so special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch brunch experience!“
“The his place was absolutely amazing the pastries and Sambusas are 10/10. Also extra points for having the best dirty chai. Nice small place, with great ambiance. Very kind people and peaceful atmosphere with lots of parking! The lady working was super kind and helpful with suggestions. Will be coming back!“
“I got a sticky bun iced latte and almost finished it before I could write this. Cars Cafe is a cute coffee shop combined with a window tinting shop. I went originally because of how unique this combo is! The staff are kind and immediately welcoming and the coffee was great! If you’re looking for a unique coffee experience in Goodlettsville, don’t pass them up.“
“Good service, very quick. Pleasant waitstaff. Greek influenced food, though still very American. We had chicken and rice soup. Very good. A riff on Greek avgolemono soup without the egg yolk and lemon thickener. I would have liked that. We had a house salad and shared a grilled cheese. I asked for Swiss cheese (lactose intolerant), with tomato and bacon. Again, very good though somewhat plain. My partner had a cannoli for dessert. There were lots of scrumptious desserts on offer. Pricing was reasonable.“
“I take my son there at least twice a month and it is lovely. The staff is super welcoming and friendly to us, and the food is great. We split a veggie omelette with a fruit cup. AND they have this shelf full of books for kids....he loves those!“
“I love this place. I started going many, many years ago. I love the food. Definitely a brunch/lunch menu. Their desserts are divine. And their chocolate covered strawberries are perfection. You need to come here at least once.Parking: There is a whole circle driveway of parking. It is very convenient. If they are packed, it is because they are only open from 11am-3pm and everyone goes at the same time.“
“The Mixed Berry Stuffed French Toast was perfection. Just the right amount of sweetness. Break fast potatoes were piping hot! Had to grab a yummy Homemade Rice Krispie Treat on the way out. What a great find in Hendersonville. Can't wait to come back to try their lunch options.“
“Friendly, down home vibe. Great food and coffee and reasonably priced. The coffee's great. They give you a cup and you pour it and doctor it up yourself. Easy and fast to get to from East Nashville - just stay on Ellington Parkway (through the Briley interchange). Safety tip: enter and exit from the rear off Briarville Rd.“
“Such a vibe!!! This place had such a warm welcome just seeing all of the games along the wall! Boardgames to me will always be around, they really put the old form of communication and learning at hand. Especially if it's a brand new game to everyone at the table! I love that you can get coffee, tea, food, and beer all in one place. The pretzel bites were to die for. The chai latte was also delicious. They also have events hosted there with game clubs and even tournaments. I will definitely be coming back again and again! I also cannot wait to bring friends.“
“I was looking for a local place to have a meeting and found District Coffee. So glad we meet there! Coffee is superb, the Pies and Sausage Rolls amazing, nice atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff. You can book a meeting room also which I will do for my next meeting. Thanks District Coffee you guys are AAA+++Parking: Easy to park right out front“
“The Red Rooster is hands down the VERY BEST place in Hendersonville , TN, for Breakfast AND LUNCH! The service is Impeccable, and their food is AMAZING! They are open 7 days per week, for breakfast and lunch! Everyone who works there from front to back are so very nice! I recommend The Red Rooster Cafe to everyone who love great food and great service! Their prices are very reasonable and won't break your bank! Go see them!#StressFreeJP“
“Great little coffee or tea shop located in the heart of East Nashville perfect for business meetings, first dates, or just to grab a tasty drink! Definitely a cool atmosphere and affordable prices, highly recommend!Parking: Parking lot is for a shopping center for depending upon time of day the parking could be wide open or a little tricky, gravel parking lot in the rear.“
“In Nashville for the weekend and always searching for gluten free restaurants. This one was AMAZING. I haven't found a legit good biscuit in the almost 4 years I've been gluten free. They make all the gluten free things on a separate everything so there is no risk of cross contamination. The biscuit was delicious along with everything else. I ordered 4 more just to take home with me. It's in a nice convenient spot in a not too busy area. Highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“Outstanding. We ordered two vegan plates and 6 lentil sambusas. Phone ordering was extremely easy. When I arrived she already had the plates boxed up and pulled the sambusas. They were hot and crispy, and she left the paper bag open so they wouldn't get soft (a wonderful attention to detail!). The person I picked up from was so nice to interact with. She said she was not the owner, but the cook. I was captivated by her passion for quality and cooking good food from scratch, cutting no corners. When I got home and dug into the plate, I could see that it was beautifully and carefully presented. I expected collard greens (gomen) on the plate. Usually they are cooked to death. Ok, that's fine, I live in the south, I am used to this. But this is the first time the gomen (Collard Greens) still had their vibrant green color! And yet, they were perfectly cooked! I took one bite and thought, these greens are fresh... and they are cooked by someone who knows how to cook greens! And then next bite, the cabbage (Atakilt Wat). Unlike the greens, the cabbage had been cooked thoroughly until it was meltingly tender and full of flavor. It was exquisite. It reminded me of my mother's.The meal was little more expensive than other places I have been, but it was absolutely worth it. I have had a lot of Ethiopian food in the past in much larger cities than Nashville. I can truly say it was the best Ethiopian in Nashville!October 31, 2023 - curbside pickup only was easy, fast, and convenient. My highest recommendation!Vegetarian options: Choose the vegan platter. Lentil sambusas are vegan.Dietary restrictions: Choose the vegan platter. Lentil sambusas are vegan.Parking: Parking right in front of the restaurant. Lots of spots.Kid-friendliness: It is curbside pickup only. If children love Ethiopian food, they will love it. The tastes are for every one. For children, the most mild dish in the restaurant is the yellow split peas that comes in the vegan plate - kik alicha. You can request it. The cabbage would also be good for children, because the cabbage is mild, flavorful, and very tender.“
“This has become my go-to place to get donuts. Their donuts are freshly made every morning and in my opinion, taste better than Krispy Kreme. The staff are always kind and helpful, not to mention it's always so clean! I really recommend this place, 10/10.“
“Mixed Grill Catering catered our wedding and it was excellent! The food was delicious, everyone loved it and multiple guests said it was the **best wedding food they’d ever eaten!** Mounir and team were very friendly and easy to work with. They helped us craft a menu to fit our preferences and our guests’ dietary restrictions and they were willing to travel. The price and the quality are unbeatable. We’ll definitely use Mixed Grill for our next event. We had the shawarma, roast chicken, beef, salad, green beans, and mixed Middle Eastern desserts including baklava, goulash, and basbousa. Plus lemonade and coffee. The team also provided the plates and silverware.Vegetarian options: There’s a wide variety of vegetarian side options including salad, green beans, and mashed potatoes.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian options available.“
“Loved this place! First time eating here, and it was great. Did brunch with some running buddies early Saturday afternoon. There was a little bit of a wait, but it was totally worth it! Got the spicy egg sandwich with some mimosas, and it was truly spectacular. Highly, HIGHLY recommend checking this place out if you're in the area!“
“Excellent Mediterranean cuisine!! Food was absolutely top notch! Atmosphere is simple but could use a bit more updating. But back to the good food!! It’s with the drive to have the Shawermah!! The size of the plates were definitely large enough to share or just walk out with a full stomach!! Don’t be fooled by the surrounding buildings this is for sure a diamond in the rough!! You definitely need to try the food at Cafe Rakka!!“
“My husband and I love this place! We go there all the time. Our favorite is the turkey and dressing and apple pie. I highly recommend trying both! The lunch manager is always so friendly and always makes sure our meal is to satisfation! When the manager remembers you by name it makes you want to come back! Keep doing an awesome Job!“
“I visited East Nashville and was looking for coffee. And East Park came up in my search and was 2 blocks away. So, I ventured into coffe and donut heaven! The staff was wonderful and super helpful. The could see the gears in my brain were working over time, LOL. They answered all my questions and I had the most delish donuts (my room mates were loving them too) and a fab coffee!! Go. You wont be disappointed.“
“Portland Brew East is Nashville Native Approved. It is a great little spot to go and work for a few hours or just have a chill morning. The black coffee is very good. I always get dark and it has a perfect flavor packed punch. The staff has always been very kind to me, too. If you sit outside you will see multiple dogs walk by, as it has a very homey location between the Eastwood and Lockland Springs neighborhoods. Plenty of street parking in every direction and a paid parking lot in back, that you probably wont need to use.“
“I love the food here. It is one of my go to spots. I dont ask for condiments because I dont even think it needs it. One time, pepper and mushrooms () ended up in my Philly Cheesesteak, but they were very kind to replace it immediately. Very friendly people. The ambiance is the mall which isnt their fault.“
“This is our very first stop once arriving to Nashville, and we are so happy we decided to give this place a visit! The staff is very friendly. The ambience is wonderful and the people and food are amazing! We were super hungry from a long flight early this morning and arrived just in time for brunch, and decided to give this place a visit. My wife and I both had wonderful breakfasts and even got something for our son. We will certainly be back and would recommend this place to anyone visiting Nashville. Zoe our waitress was extremely attentive and did a great job serving us! She even provided recommendations which were spot on! Keep up the great work!“
“We came here for the first time we ordered the million dollar bacon as an entree which was probably the best thing we had, my wife ordered the chickachanga entree which was really good and I ordered the shrimp and grits it didn't have a lot of flavor but I do know when you try it you have to eat everything with it it needs just a little bit of salt. The drinks were good. We will definitely be back here and try something else.“
“I finally made it to Edit, and let me say, it turned out better than I expexted. The design of the restaurant is very cool, very loungy vibe. The music was great, a bit louder than I would have personally preferred, but it’s great for date night. I’ve had the tikka masala poutine, very tasty, and more than I anticipated. My coctail was very good, also. Can’t wait to go back and try more of their ever-changing seasonal menu.“
“Such yummy yummy food from a great family owned business! The desserts are so soft and have the perfect sweetness and flavor. The wraps are absolutely to die for! They are huge and filled full with fresh ingredients. Everything is handmade by the owner and it shows in the quality of food! They have so many different savory and sweet options to fit whatever you are in the mood to eat! Go here and support a local business and eat yummy food!“
“I work just around the corner. I usually brown bag it, but I'm always very excited when I get to have a lunch from Unique Flavors. My favorite is probably the Humpty Dumpty (egg salad sandwich), but you can't go wrong with the Chicken Salad Salad (scoop of chicken salad on greens). It's a family run business; the owner and her daughter are delightful people. I'm so happy to support my neighbors at a local business!“
“I'm here visiting a friend and she's a frequent customer . Today was her birthday and the owner got her a little Gift which was very nice. The owner asked me what I would like and I told him to just mix whatever up. I was feeling pretty rough that morning and by the time I got done drinking what he mixed up. I felt a lot better. I drink a lot of energy drinks and I'll tell you what throw that stuff in the trash and go see this guy he can give you a real. Energy drink“
