Had a bad experience my first time there about 5 years ago. Haven't given them a second look until my daughter suggested it for her seventeenth birthday today. Sooo glad I did. Hands down night and day difference. Everything was excellent. This hands down is now my favorite restaurant. I had the blackened grouper with vegetables and risotto. Best dish I've ever had. My wife and daughters never seen each other savor our food so intensely. Five years ago I caught you guys on a bad day around lunch time and judged you harshly. My deepest apologies, you all are number one in Jackson in my book. I'll be coming back soon for the Chilean sea bass.

We went yesterday for dinner around 7pm we were seated and someone finally came over to take our drink order. Let me start by saying the place itself was nice the atmosphere and vibe was very stiff and honestly like the hostess and staff were better than us is the vibe we got. As a business owner myself I couldn’t imagine making a customer feel like they aren’t worthy to be there but we all definitely felt like that. We waited a while for appetizers as all the other tables around us were getting food and getting drinks in a timely manner. Our hostess seemed bothered by us being there and she made sure not to be at our table much. When she brought the appetizer once she remembered, it was ok there was a big piece of steak meat in mines which I didn’t eat. Then when our food came out the waiter somehow didn’t see the tall glass of alcohol and dropped it and broke it and got quite a bit of the alcohol on my friend clothes and it was broken glass all on the floor and around his seat. To say he was pissed was an understatement especially since he already felt uneasy there from the vibe of the staff. They keep apologizing but the damage was done from our initial arrival and walking in. It’s definitely not minority friendly as one of the white guest said when we walked in that my friend heard him say “more and more of them are coming here now”. As a business owner myself I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to family, friends, or clients. It’s time to humble yourselves and treat everyone equally. I’ll gladly take my money elsewhere. We definitely will never be back to this place.

The place we got engaged 6 years ago at this restaurant! The food is so good and so is the service.
I was with my husband for a Christmas party, the Atmosphere was amazing. My husband and I had a ribeye steak, mine was well and his was Medium rare. Mine pretty good but I needed some A1. The waiter seemed overwhelmed b/c no one ever asked us about steak sauce. My husband wanted hot sauce and this seemed to have been a bothersome task for our waiter. I ordered a drink which took a while (10mins or more). I had started eating my dinner before I received it. One person in our party got her meal, while everyone else was halfway into their's ?. I guess it was a busy night but I don't think we received an apology for this behavior. My husband agrees, a simple sorry would have went a long way.

We really enjoyed our 1st trip to Flatiron Grille. Very dark and romantic atmosphere with some light music. Excellent selection of wine, liquor, and draft beers. The bone in ribeye melted in my mouth and my wife's Santos Chicken was excellent. Will be returning soon.
