My fiancé and I came here for our anniversary. The food was delicious. From the cornbread appetizer all the way to the bananas foster, we had no complaints. Looking forward to our next meal.

One of my favorite restaurants in Johnson City! Everything I’ve tried here is absolutely delicious and the service is wonderful as well (I ordered take out tonight and they brought my order out before I could even call to let them know I was there!). They also have one of the best wine lists of any restaurant I’ve been to in the area. Will happily return again and again ❤️

My wife and I had the specials. She had the seared halibut which was simply prepared. I had the veal chop. There is not a restaurant in the world that would not be proud to serve these meals! Our server was attentive without being intrusive. A lovely meal and evening!

This was an ideal place for a dinner date night. The dining room had tables that were well spaced and NO LOUD MUSIC that ruins most dining experiences. The waitress was very attentive and timely spaced our courses. The food exceeded our expectations. We will be back!!

Took my wife to Gourmet on Friday the 16th of February, two days after Valentines Day. Howard and his team are always on top of everything and they must have sensed my wife and I wanted to have a romantic spot in a corner. We had some privacy and we could celebrate a post Valentine's Day together. Our server, who has helped us many times was excellent, even though the restaurant was packed. Norma had the Quiche of the day which she said was excellent. Lots of salad accompanied the quiche. I always have the same thing, a Turkey Reuben with Swiss cheese and Comeback Sauce. The sandwich which disappoints and makes me always want to "come-back". The fruit "side dish" with the Reuben has the best cheese with it. If they would sell me some of the cheese alone I would buy it in a heart beat. Great iced tea with a slice of orange. Never, ever had nothing but a great meal at Gourmet and Company.

I expected food with elevated flavor and expertise and that is what we received. I was thrilled to find that the food was as good as I had hoped. My steak was cooked perfectly. My only disappointment was in the size and location of the table. It was tiny and next to another small table in the middle of the room. It helped that a pseudo barrier was created by the decor between the tables, but I still felt like it was too close to carry on a private conversation.

The fries here are excellent - soooo good. Great cookies, great tea, great steak. Was pretty disappointed with my lunch entree I ordered though, will probably try something different in the future. I ordered a sandwich and was really disappointed for what I paid. It was two chunky pieces of bread, very dry with vegetables thrown in the box. The sandwich was not even sliced - It really wasn’t edible.

I always have such a great experience at Gourmet. It is a fun, but elegant place to take family and friends for lunch or dinner. I haven’t gotten a bad meal yet! Definitely tru a cookie or two before heading out!
