What a gem, just south of downtown Johnson City! Amazing ice cream creations and, my fave, Shave Ice! The syrups aren't sickening-sweet, making for a truly refreshing treat. And the owner is so nice. I guarantee you'll find something for everyone's sweet tooth here!

We tried this place for the first time yesterday and my kids are already begging to go back. I can't believe I waited so long to try it. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! And right down the street from us. Too many options to mention. Very sweet employees and very clean store. This is now our go-to for a treat for the kids.

This place is always good we drive a hour and a half to eat here because it said it was open till 8pm and we got there at 6pm and wouldn’t serve us. No more driving that far for us. She needs to update her hours online or something because that’s ridiculous

Call first before attempting to come here. This makes the 3rd or 4th time I've gone 20 minutes out of my way, each way, to get snoballs and they were not open during their posted hours. No explanation online or on voicemail, in fact, the voicemail is full (not a great sign for a business). I understand things come up for small business owners but it seems like a habit at this point that they just show up when they feel like it. Their items are good but we're giving up at this point since they have little regard for their customers by not following their own posted hours. It's very disappointing to bring a child here and then not be able to follow through with the treat, so definitely call before you mention it to your kids or show up.

Oh. M. Effing. G…SAM’S SNOBALLS ARE THE MOST DIVINE DELICIOUS MAGNIFICENT CREATIONS OF SHAVED ICE YOU COULD EVER POSSIBLY BLESS YOUR TASTE BUDS WITH!! I’m so serious, when it comes to shaved ice, I’m very picky. Most places don’t put enough syrup or too much ice, but they know what they’re doing lemme TELL YOU WHAT!!! Especially Macy who took my order and made my snoball. They were very busy (probably cus they’re so dang good!!!) but she handled the line very professionally and made a gosh darn delicious snoball. The flavor variety is extremely impressive and the inside is just so fun and vibey and lit. I GUARANTEE you will not be disappointed when you visit. 1,000,000/10 WOULD ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!!!!!

i LOVE sams snoball paradise! from the atmosphere to the cones, this business has done a fantastic job at making their environment a warm and welcoming one! the staff is so attentive and seems to have a lot of fun ( :P ) !! ESPECIALLY macy pierceston street! you go girl! the owner, sam, laughs at all my jokes making her my favorite! although shaved ice isn’t exactly food, who cares! it’s freaking good! get over it! basically what i’m saying is, get a snoball from this place!

It's, like, legit Instagram heaven, like, for real!And, like, can we talk about the snowballs? They're, like, not just your basic snowballs, you know? They're like, gourmet snowballs! They've got, like, all these, like, rad flavors from cosmic cotton candy to, like, extreme espresso blast. It's like, every snowball is, like, a party in your mouth! And, like, you can even, like, DIY your own snowball with, like, a bazillion toppings – I'm talking gummy bears, rainbow sprinkles, and, like, even unicorn sparkles!But wait, there's more! The music at Sam's Snowball Paradise is, like, totally on point. They've got, like, this playlist that's, like, all the hits from the 2000s – you know, like Britney, N'Sync, and, like, Avril Lavigne. Highly recommend if you are looking for a unique dessert spot! My husband and I found this little mom and pop the other night after we tried a few other places for dessert. I am so glad this is the place we ended up at! It was so good, we went back the next night to bring our kids and try something different on the menu. We will definitely be back and spread around how delicious it was!
