Smokey Bones is one of my favorite restaurants in Johnson City, I’ve been going for years. Service is always great and we were quickly sat on a friday evening, even as a larger group. Taylor was a wonderful server, she was very funny and friendly. The memphis dry rub wings have always been my go-to and they have never let me down. 10/10 experience as always.

The only reason I would go as high as 3 star is because of the server. Everything else should be 1 star. It wasn't very busy but the wait time was terrible. Food was average at best.

Service was deplorable. Took 25 minutes to get out drinks, another half hour to get our appetizer, another 45 minutes to get our burgers. Our waitress was never around. We had to ask waitresses serving other tables for additional drinks. Some of my meal was missing. Had to ask a waitress that wasn't mine to ask my waitress for my missing items. Took 18 minutes for my friend to get her mixed drinks and the ice had melted already and it was all watered down. Ordered dessert and after 27 minutes told them to cancel it. Then they are giving excuses about why. It was just that an excuse. The place wasn't even packed. Was mostly empty. Not crowded at all. Even if the place was full we shouldn't have waited so long for any of our food. The guy that came in long after we did got his food long before us. Food was ok. Of course if it was hot when we got it, it probably would have been better.Wheelchair accessibility: Not really wheelchair friendly. Have a steep ramp to get to some tables. The bathroom is on the small side. They have a plug in heater blocking the handicapped stall that I had to move out of the way so I can get to the stall. I did move it back up on leaving. But it is a hazard

Great restaurant. The host, Spencer, was just awesome! We loved his personality and he gave us great advise on what to order.
It was a surprise that we got a steak buy one and get one free . I was taking my cousin out for her birthday and we both enjoyed the great food and service was so good. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. We wish you had one of these restaurant's in Bristol.Parking: Good parking lot.

Not worth the money and was disappointed when they wouldn't give my sister a free dessert on her birthday like most restaurants offer I paid $12.99 for the early bird dinner and the pulled pork portion was skimpy and dried out. Didn't care for their sweet potato fries either and that was also very skimpy. The only thing that wasn't skimpy was the check.

I don't normally write reviews but this place was terrible. We got seated pretty quickly for it to be a Saturday night. Our server got us drinks out quickly. I understand it's a busy night and things happen, but the food was terrible. We waited an hour if not longer for our food and once it got to the table it was cold. The ribs were dry, the sausage wasn't done, and the steak was pink. I basically paid $60 drinks and a couple of bites.
