All food ordered was top notch as expected and Taylor provided outstanding service throughout our meal.

i don't generally leave bad reviews but it is quite frustrating to order a 17.99 burger just for it to be missing two toppings and lack one of the main reasons the burger is so expensive. the service was also very poor. our order was placed online to avoid a long wait and still ended up having to wait 20 minutes past our initial pick up time

Always great service and delicious food. The ambience is pleasant as well. Ben was very attentive and helpful today.

This used to be my favorite restaurant in Johnson City. It's been a while since I'd eaten there. However, my recent visit may be my last. One would think that being in the food "service" industry, those individuals would concentrate on that aspect of the business with the large amount of competition in the area for your hard earned dollars in this economy. In short, the Hostess should be a little more courteous rather than giving the "could care a less" attitude when there are people waiting for service, watching open tables sit vacant. Once seated (after a long wait) the server was nice, pleasant and attentive. She did her job well. Regrettably, people go to restaurants to eat food not interact with their servers. The cheese curds and pretzel sticks were delicious. but the time between appetizers and main course could have been a lot less. When the main courses did arrive, the Salmon AND baby back ribs were dried out like they had been sitting under a warming lamp far too long. At those prices, you expect perfection. Unless I read improved reviews of this establishment in the future, I'll be dining on Bar-B-Q in other places in the area.

Dinner prices for lunch size portions. This has to be the best restaurant, not to go to. The service was good, the food was good, the prices were double what the value was. 18 bucks for a mushroom swiss burger and fries, 18 bucks for less pulled pork than you would get from a lunch sandwich. Almost 7 dollars for a single high noon mango in a can. The bathroom smelled reallllll bad, lol I mean bad... 52 bucks for lunch size portions, a beer and a single high noon in a can was not bad enough, they add 15% to the alcohol sales so you not only pay for the alcohol and are taxed on the over all price, but you also pay their alcohol taxes... one and done

So I came in tonight to a fairly busy and active bar. The two bartenders were great. Very attentive and overly friendly. Great customer service. The food I had was also out quickly and met the expectation. It was good. The drawback for me was a particular server that was overly loud as she came through the restaurant and back to the kitchen. She was a large blonde woman who was very boisterous and almost every trip through the restaurant to visit her table she was practically yelling on the way to them and then yelling back to the kitchen on the way back. She was even louder when in the makeshift kitchen area and using expletives when talking to the staff. Unfortunately it ruined the experience for me. I do not think she was purposefully being obnoxious per se but just no self awareness and I saw a lot of heads in the bar and restaurant turning as she loudly yelled across the restaurant. Hopefully someone in the management team can make her aware because she was working hard all night. Just over the top with the yelling and sometimes obnoxious behavior.

We had attended a concert at ETSU and looked for a place for late eats. Well this Smokey Bones location was busy and we found this location to be fabulous. All our food was excellent. The three pretzel app was so good. I had a side salad and thoroughly enjoyed it. The barbecue sandwich with sweet potato frys was deliscious. The grilled cheese with barbecue was amazingly good with a side of deliscious Mac and cheese. All the food was spot on. The real beauty of our late night meal was definitely Simone. She was doing it all. What an amazing personality. Simone made our visit a highlight to our great night. We would go back to eat here again to see Simone. Hope she gets recognized for her brilliance. Thank you Simone for your beautiful personality.

We love Smokey Bones, but we LOVE Simone more!!! She is the reason we come back here to eat, the food is good but the service is BETTER!! She always keeps our drinks full and make sure everything is what we wanted/ordered. We will be back again and again!!!

Came on Veterans DAY!! Somewhat Busy when I arrived with my 2 Veterans. We sat at the bar and still had to wait about 20 minutes to be recognized. Pulled Pork and wings were delicious! The atmosphere was ruined though by a waitress named Simone. She was so Loud and obnoxious the customers around the bar thought she may be under the influence? Her loud raspy voice was so distracting it interrupted the conversation we were trying to have. I also observed her Vaping by all the food coming out of the kitchen! I won't be back to eat even if it's free.

Great food had the ribs with original sauce. Service was great Our waitress Simone was very attentive. The Ribs were tender and almost falling off the bone. Wonder time!!!

After hearing about 'happy hour' and pool tables at the Smokey Bones, we decided to try the restaurant. The first thing we noticed was the repeated phrases of 'sorry we are out of that'. The restaurant was out of sodas, appetizers, and a lot of menu items we went to order. We should have taken that as a sign to stay away, but we felt like giving what we could order a try. We had issues with the temperature on various meat dishes. Several menu items were not the best. Also - the alcohol drinks were not the best. We had featured drinks from the menu that were missing key ingredients because 'we were out'. Strange....so strange. The mixologist is not the best, so everyone at the table was disappointed with their mixed drinks. We will skip dining at Smokey Bones in Johnson City again. This experience was so 'poor' I think it has ruined us from ever stepping foot in the chain in any state.

In my search for a good hamburger, I wish I had stayed away from here. The absolute worst, an unmitigated disaster. It was like trying to eat a hockey puck. Besides being hard and dry, there was no flavor. It was also sloppily dressed. The crinkle fries are like the ones you can buy in the frozen section at Walmart.

Omg. Server insisted to check the steak before eating. Steak was a little undercooked for my liking and they immediately took it back, cook came out and apologized which was not necessary but really appreciated. This place definitely appreciates customer service.Coming back for sure

We walked in and the sidewalk rail was sticky. Then the front door windows was covered with finger prints. My wife went in to the restroom and there was no toilet paper in her stall. We came out of the restrooms and no one came up to greet us. We left not really caring to eat in a dirty restaurant.
