We be there around 10 minute in the in front the hostess area waiting to be noticed for any person and the only ones who see us was a waitress to say seat whatever you want and only have one menu in the table for two person and not a liquor menu we decided to leave the place just for the BAD SERVICE !!!

I had a great experience at Fusion. I sat at the bar, and the bartender was both friendly and helpful, recommending both what was good on the menu, and fun things to do in the area. I had the salmon, followed by fresh baked key lime pie. The fish was well seasoned and perfectly cooked, and the pie was absolutely amazing. Fully recommend trying the place if you are in the area!

Our party of 7 arrived to celebrate a birthday. We were seated and our drink order was taken. Five of us ordered sweet tea, the tea was delivered unsweetened. No biggie, we grabbed some sweetener and moved on. We ordered two appetizers, one being the Tri-Color dip. My son took a bite and immediately grabbed his mouth. He fished out a large chunk of thick, jagged plastic! This cut his mouth and damaged his tooth. I flagged down a server and requested to speak to the owners. They were not there and a young girl came out from the kitchen. She took the large, jagged piece of plastic and examined it. It was obvious she was shocked. She truly had no idea what to do. She pulls out a pad of sticky notes and asks for my phone number so the owner can call me. That was Saturday and it is now late Monday evening and I received no call. Our entrees arrived and two were fresh from the fridge cold. We told the server about the cold food and mentioned the issue with the tea as our refills were also wrong. He marched to the kitchen and yelled, “ You all can’t even sweeten the tea.” We were then informed the kitchen staff were in training. They did not offer to bring the correct drinks or even warm the food to an edible temperature. They did remove the charges for the two cold entrees, drinks, and the dip with the plastic piece.What worries me is what else is dropping into the food? This was dangerous but the possibilities are truly gross.Had my son swallowed the chunk of jagged, hard plastic, the internal damage could have been very serious. I really am disappointed that no follow up was made as promised, I would have liked to think they were concerned about my son’s injuries.

We had the soup/salad/pasta bar. Salad was fresh..but hard to get to. Soup chicken tortilla and broccoli cheese, both were bland needed seasoning, broccoli cheese didnt taste house made. Chicken tortilla was more of a broth with a ton of celery. Pastas were greasy probably should have put out fresh. Atmosphere..every table was dirty..was told at the door by the man working to find a a table. The young lady that brought our drinks was friendly..we did order nachos for appetizer we never got it. Drove out of our way to eat here. Very DISAPPOINTED.

Not hot at all. The other meal was seared ahi. I do NOT suggest this at all. The potatoes were very tasty, however COLD not warm at all. Ahi was Bland and very chewy. Fried artichokes as an appetizer, was ok. We did not complain due to the waitress already having a personality shift. So we paid and I ate after getting hone, due to being hungry after a meal of 110 dollars. Atmosphere was good, casual and laid back. That was the best part if this experience.

Let me start off by saying I myself am a huge supporter of local businesses in Kingsport, sentimentally and financially. Many restaurant owners know me and my family very well. Examples being Riverfront, Santa Fe ( Nacho & Teo ), Mustard Seed Cafe, Main Street Pizza, Two Dad's Cafe, Giuseppe's, Italian Village, Raffaele's, Wasabi, Ming Garden, Pal's ( The Barger family ) , and that's just naming a few out of many more. All have met and personally know who we are and have for many years. I want to say that i am very disappointed to have to spread nothing but the horrid truth about Fusion at Ridgefield's. Unfortunately, Mr. Joaquin has displayed the upmost disrespect for his employees and guest. From yelling at patron's and his staff, over stressing them to a point where they have a breaking point, not properly training his staff, to then proceeding to gripe. Owner likes to yell slurs and start intense heated arguments. He doesn't want to think through a situation, instead choosing to judge a situation too quickly and react incorrectly. Very inappropriate for any type of business. I'm going to have to be with everyone else when I say that I am disregarding whatever the owners " response " to this may be, if there even will be one. Many witnessed his behavior. Even people who were formally regulars are now having second thoughts. I've wrote this much only because I care. What's sad is the staff tries and they're some pretty good cooks here. Food can be really good at times. Unfortunately, things seem to run out and the deliverance of the information tends to be mixed up, skewed, and too late. For many more reasons besides just these, my point stands. As of the way things are now, I cannot supports this local business. Everyone beyond Kingsport will now know of how this business runs and how it needs to be improved. I hope the mess is cleaned up and this business can get the help that it severely needs.
