Horrible customer service, lied to, misleading. I ordered the number 7 like always and the waitress brought out 2 tacos, rice and beans. The number 7 comes with 3 tacos. I told the waitress and she brings me another taco. Next our check comes and she charges me extra for the taco. We take it up front to pay and the guy with the gold in his teeth/tooth…whatever was absolutely disgusting and rude to us and told us he would fix it. He only took two dollars off of our ticket instead actually fixing the actual price to the correct items then when we say what he did and brought to his attention he says it’s our fault. Next be more clear how much more clear can you be? What the?

We usually go to the gray location, but decided to go to this one since it was closer. The food was okay. My food was a bit burnt and my wife’s food was bland as could be. The service we had was nice and quick service for the time of day. The atmosphere is not great. It is like being packed in like a can of sardines and the chairs at the tables are quite uncomfortable. I would not visit this location again unless it was the last one open.

I went here for a quick dinner on Thursday 3/7/24 around 5:30pm as my husband was working late and I wanted to grab some food before going to a basketball game. After I was seated, it was a long time before anyone came to take my drink order, no chips and salsa. I’m not sure if I was overlooked because I was alone or what. The sweet tea tasted soured and there was char from the dirty grill all over my quesadilla. Staff seemed uninterested in waiting on me. I was charged $1 more at the register when I paid than what the total on my receipt said. From reading other reviews here, I’m gathering that’s an extra charge for using a debit card. This is unacceptable especially not letting customers know about this up front. The La Carreta on Eastman Rd tried to poison me with Fabuloso in my drink and now this bad experience at this location…probably will not be back to any location.

I visited La Carreta at lunchtime and caught the lunch specials. I ordered the Taco Salad. The shell had a really good flavor, and it was loaded with ground beef. The server was very sweet and checked on me several times. The ladies' restroom was clean. Unfortunately, one of the faucets would not shut off, and it looked like it had been that way for a while. There was plenty of parking. This location is not too far off of the interstate, so it's an option for travelers as well as locals. I was working in the area that day, and this was my first time eating there. I had an enjoyable meal.

Cheddars next door was packed so we decided to give La Carreta a try. We were seated immediately and our waiter Ruth was so amazing, kind, and attentive. On top of that, everyone in our party was very satisfied with their meals. We will definitely be back.
