My favorite place to eat Japanese cuisine! They provide the highest quality of food and service all while providing a great customer atmosphere. My waitress was Ms. Israelle, who was very beautiful, provided the highest level of service and treated me amazing during my visit! Everything tasted very nice. Just wish the vegetables were cooked on like a grill or flattop for more texture just seemed like they were steamed but everything had a good flavor nonethelessI think I was just looking for a little bit of a grilled effect on the foodDefinitely will return though. Good quality good amount for the price.

This is absolutely the worst location of this chain in Johnson City and Kingsport.I stopped by for lunch today and had the standard chicken and rice, and it was absolutely terrible.There were several pieces of fat or gristle or whatever in the chicken, there was no spices or seasoning at all, and even the rice was overcooked.The restaurant itself is kind of dark and dirty looking, and they now charge extra for mushrooms with either chicken or steak, and they are the only Japanese restaurant in the Tri-Cities that does that.There are plenty of other places around that serve this type of food that are much better, and I would enthusiastically recommend that you try one of those and pass this place on.The location on Stone Drive in Kingsport is much cleaner and the food is cooked much better. If it is a choice of one of these two for lunch or dinner definitely go to Stone Drive!
Needs a regular deep cleaning, food quality has gone way down hill.

I ordered a take out, phone call was rude and rushed because I wasn’t aware the menu /(management?) had been changed, as well as prices. My soup turned out to be a giant thing of shrimp sauce, I asked for chicken with no peas, no carrots, and zucchini and onion rather than carrot. I got the chicken, With peas and carrots, and a ton of subpar mushrooms instead of zucchini and onion. Very very disappointed.

Best Miso soup ever! I love their food even though there is not very much variety. The decor is dated but clean and that means a lot to me.
