First time visiting. Really impressed with baby back ribs. Sweet potato chips were my favorite as well. Staff really nice. Highly recommended.

Not being from the Knoxville area, we were looking for a restaurant that had b-que sandwiches close to my dad. Found this place on Google and thought we would give it a try. We were not disappointed. We ordered the small sandwiches and they were piled high with pork. Add a little sauce and um, um good. So good, my dad asked me to get him another one the next day for lunch.

Tennessee BBQ, ribs, pulled pork, potato salad, beans and different sauces. Very good, the staff was helpful and will return the next time I in Knoxville.

Archers was a great place to stop and find Tennessee BBQ. The staff was very friendly, and there were plenty or seats open. For the price, there's plenty of food to be had. The BBQ was above average. The sauces were excellent, and the Mac and Cheese and Pimento Cheese sides were also very tasty. Overall, a pleasant experience for us passing through along the highway (5 minutes off).

Enjoy the bbq here and the banana pudding is very good. As they open at 11 most days thought the food would be fresh, however it was barely warm. When paying a premium price one would hope to get Hot food. :(

Pulled pork was unremarkable and the potato salad was kind of watery. The place did not look very busy and sometimes that impacts quality.

The greens need more flavor (bacon) and less pepper. Everything else was great. We'll be back. Daughter was up visiting from Florida and HAD to return to Archers. She went to Archers last time they were up to visit.

Bf's favorite bbq place, we drive an hour to get it. Nice people, great meat, good sauce selection (there are 6 different bottles at the table to self serve from). Their shirts are really cute, too! I recommend a pulled pork sandwich, add jalapeno pimento cheese!

My husband, Tim, got the basic 1/2 rack plate with baked beans and coleslaw. He was astonished by how the ribs fell off the bone, the basic sauce was perfect (he doesn't like spicy), the beans were perfect for his palate, and even though the coleslaw was coarse- it was delicious.

Archer’s is THE place to go for quintessential Knoxville ribs! Their dry rub cannot be beat, and their classic sauce is always the best match. The ribs are meaty and the fat is always evenly cooked in. If you’re into brisket, stop by early on Fridays or Saturdays and you’re sure to be delighted! We usually get a full rack of ribs to share with the family, as well as a pound of one other meat, depending upon what we all feel like. This particular location can be a bit tricky to access if Kingston Pike is busy, but it’s well worth it. Inside you’ll find the friendliest staff and classic no-nonsense furnishings that are a sure sign of the real thing.

Good food, nice smoked flavors, good sides.I loved the ribs, good texture while cleanly coming off the bone. I wish there was little more meat on the two ribs that come with the plate, but taste wise - very good. Potato salad was also very good.

Customer service is great here. The meats and the sides are pretty good. The sauces need a little work. They are all a bit too liquidy and all too close in heat (I tried all four). The biggest downside here is the styrofoam containers. I ate my takeout only a few minutes after leaving and you could taste the styrofoam on the bread. At a quick glance I saw paper takeout boxes for the same 20 cents per container as the styrofoam options. I would definitely consider this going forward.

Store closed sign in window. Hours posted said it should be open. I started to leave but saw movement inside and decided to see. Enjoyed employees friendliness, out of ribs but it was late on 4th of July and I decided to go with BBQ pork sandwich plate with baked beans and jalapeno pimento sides. Sides tasted better than any other BBQ place I've been to. I think M&M catering has better flavor pork sandwich. I'll have to go back and try ribs. Overall I enjoyed the food and service. Price was good too.

The restaurant looked clean. The brisket had good flavor and texture. As well it appeared to have a smoke ring. The (4) stars; as far as the meat is concerned, you get an A. The Memphis sauce wasn't quite what I hoped it might be, but that's just my opinion. Customer service is where a little effort could be pushed. When I went to get my drink for my to go order, no ice. The young man said the ice machine hadn't worked for a bit; ok warm Coke. As I'm getting down the road enjoying my sandwich I came to inevitable of Bar-B-Que, I needed a napkin; and there were none. It certainly would have been handy for that young man to throw a couple in there for me, B-.Finally my last point; I've noticed more places are asking for gratuity with the ticket even before I've had a chance to fully assess the the food and service. I threw those fellas a couple of bucks, but never again. You want a tip from.me earn it. I've worked in food service, I'll typically tip at least 20%
